I just did the hot racing motor and it wasn’t a direct bolt on I had to drill a hole
Oh really... Thanks for the heads up.. I will definitely keep this in mind..
@@nwirc I thought it would be since it’s a “better “ brand but it’s not but no complaints with it not faster then original but a lot more torque ,also some suggest breaking it in before install by running it then increasing speed slowly
The beadlocks look better than the tiny tires, but still think it would look better with taller tires with those 43mm shocks. Something like RC4WD Mud Slingers, which is what I'll probably go with. My RCLions shocks will be here today, Lol.
I thought about those mud slingers and still might purchase them. I haven't done much testing with the rc lions shocks but they seem work out pretty good on my rocky course.
Cool tune axi24, excellent work my friend!)🥰🤩💯💥👍👏
Thank you..!
The cat looks around like who u talking 2 🤣🤣👋✌
Lol.. They like to bomb my videos most of the time. I think it's funny especially when they go right in front of the lens.
I ran my Injora super swampers with foam, then without. It was better without for me.
That what I was thinking right of the start.. Thanks
They work just as good actually better with the foams in. The tires have plenty of grip and some give with the foams. The biggest reason I left them in is the ground clearance and not as much sidewall distortion. Makes side hilling much more stable!
Nice rig and upgrades. I just got the grey C10 myself
Sweet.. I'm looking to get a grey c10 too right after I announce the giveaway for this one.
You gotta get so proline hyrax worth it, but a little big for the c10 so I mostly run the thornbirds. Great video bro!
Thank you.. I will look into them shortly. They might fit good with these 43mm shocks.. It's worth a shot. Thanks
The weight does kill the motor. I bought the furitek brushless motor. It's fricken AWESOME! Had to cut my receiver plate and raise the receiver up about 3/4" but well worth it
Thanks for the info. I'll look into that.
@@nwirc you bet. Make sure you get the new smaller one that comes with the esc/bluetooth. It's $160 but as I said well worth it. What's building RCs if we don't have to modify/ fab something new?
@@WildRebel69 That's not a bad price at all.. I plan on building a completely new rig only cause I'm giving this away to a subscriber when I hit 1k subs. And 100 on exploring with mods..!
@@nwirc Nice. It's actually $130 but I bought the insurance and if course taxes lol. I bought the Gray C10. Fully upgraded it and realized I had a 90% complete vehicle so.. I bought a new transmitter/ receiver and bought an upgraded brushed motor with esc. Was going to keep it stock but.... I bought a buggy frame and started upgraded it to that. Well I now have a 80% complete stock setup 😆 Oooff This hobby.
hot racing products are known for not fitting injora is really what you want to use, also mounting the shocks to the frame right below the stock towers kind of messes up your climbing ability
I'm kinda new to the crawler world but I'm learning and appreciate the advice.
Those tiny screws are kind of a pain I just did a set today
I agree with you 100%
Yeah I tried and tried with the phone same in your rims and tires couldn't get it in there it took the phone out they even work better for traction I think it works better without the phone thanks for your videos awesome
Thank you and you're welcome..
I have another question for you have you tried the injora Steel. Drivelines yet I had a problem with the front one hitting the differential figured out it was the screw is stripped and it was falling out of it had to cut down the front drive line to make it fit had to cut down the back Drive Line to make it fit I'll send pictures later if you want
@@timothyjappert1683 I haven't tried them yet. I have quite a bit of weight on the rig at the moment but willing to give them a try.
The bead locks look sweat! I bought some Injora headlocks with the fake proline hyrax compound. They look sweat, it was cool that they had foams too, and for some reason the tire was air-tight, so it was kinda hard to compress
That's why I removed the foams.. I still need to vent them cause air is still trapped in them.. Hopefully I can get a video out this weekend showing all 3 comparisons.. With and without foams and vented.. Stay tuned and thanks for watching..
@@nwirc cool, thanks
left my foams in not happy with the grip though.
Hopefully they'll grip better without.. We'll see after the motor upgrade is completed..
On the little nuts you will want to add blue locktite just to keep them from falling out I’ve been having problems till I did that also keep in mind they will be a pain in the ass to take apart
Thanks for the heads up. I will keep this in mind.
Those are mini proline hyrax :)
Thanks for watching..
NO oven, use Acetone. Get some Pro-Line HYRAX tires...
I bought injora headlocks and rc4wd Goodyear wrangler tires and they don’t wanna mount, are they not meant for eachother?
I hope someone can help you with this. The ones I bought are all Injora wheels and tires.
What was used to get the factory tires off of the c10?
I don't remember what size tool I used to get the factory tires off but I am running a giveaway on this beast if your interested. czcams.com/video/6t-vZ8PJC_k/video.html
Using a drill is fine but if you get a bad screw it will bust nside and you will be screwed yourself
Kitty!
All of my cats tries to steel the show lol.. Batman and Twix seems to do it the most.
What size lug nut screw do you need
I'm not sure what size they are. They came in brass kit I bought for it. They don't specify the size.. Sorry
Where did you get the brass kit at?
Those tires need the foams. You'll lose a lot of Performance without them
I will do a comparison with and without foams in my next video.
That's not true I got more attraction better response with no foam in the tires. With the foam in the tires it keep falling over it had tire roll real bad it still has a little tire oil but not as bad with the foam with the foam it hit the edge of the foam it would fall over the truck would fall over
The cat at the beginning is hella distracting
Sorry about that.. They're part of our family and they bomb most of our videos indoors.
You blew your motor because you’re tightening your wheels WAY TOO much.
