I love that brand of gel nudes!! I have 2 of them including the one u have! There really good just some of them u have to apply several coats. Also I stopped using putty for that reason and more, I started using those nail adhesives that u put in the customer's Prep Kit to put on the nail stands and it holds the nails so much better. Give it a try.

Hi there. Thank you for this video. I'm new at doing press-on's & in need of help please. You showed some sets that you made for your pop up store... Please tell me how did you do the sizing? I'd like to also do a pop up store & sell some readymade sets online, but I don't know how to do sizing, without customised sizes.

You can go on Pinterest and type in nail size chart. I make my sets based off of those numbers. I’ve found that I sell more medium nails so I made majority medium for my pop up. When doing custom orders I’ll have my clients go based off that chart and sometimes ill ask them to send a picture of their nails. Then on their next order they’ll know which fingers they need to size up or down on. I only use gel polish on my press ons so they still have the ability to expand so if for any reason a nail is snug it’ll still expand and fit. Any nails that are slightly large can be filed down on the sides for a better fit.

They look amazing, but personally I would have done the thumb designs facing the other way, rather than the deign going the same way.

Try making a spreadsheet with every item you use for a set, how many uses you get out of it, and how much it will cost per use. Then add it all up and that’s your cost of goods. Cost of time is harder because it’s such a personal thing.

Also can you do them with polygel, nail builder, gel paint kit or gel nail polish? Which one do you prefer to use? And is that gorilla glue putty? And how many coats do you normally do with each set is it the 4-5?..

I prefer to use gel polish but honestly you can use whatever you’re comfortable with. And I’m not sure what brand putty it is but it’s from Amazon. I normally do 2 coats maybe three depending on the color.

Do u put builder gel on all your press ons to male them strong so they don't bend? If not what do u use to prevent them bending
No ma’am, only when encapsulating, and I don’t do that often. The many coats of gel polish make them very sturdy.

Do you not use acrylic or hard get for your press ons?
No ma’am not at all, I only use gel polish. If you do chose to use those just make sure you size up the nail size because the nail will no longer expand once you use acrylic or cure the hard gel. ☺️

As you can see there isn’t any !
You don’t have to use Acrylic to charge a certain price. It’s the supplies you use, the time spent making them as well as press on nails being a luxury that you’re able to reuse opposed to paying the same price for nails you’ll wear for two weeks and take off.
However, they are a preference and not everyone charges my price, I’m just not that girl 😘

Like licensing for selling online and having a small business and so we need to get a nail tech certification bc I’m just taking an online paid nail course right now cause I’m in university and would have to drop out to go to cosmetology school :/
Thank you ☺️ no ma’am you don’t need a cosmetology license to sell press on nails. You can just get all of your supplies and start. I have an LLC and that’s all I have to operate my business. However, if I were you I would get into it first to see how you like it before you go paying for anything like an LLC.

How do you know how to price?
Good question,
Honestly I base my prices off of acrylic nails and add tax. If they’ll pay that much for acrylic that only last 2-3 weeks (if even that) then make them pay for nails that they can reuse. Press on nails are a luxury and should be advertised and priced as such. ☺️
