I am not sure how I came across this video tonight, but it was not an accident. For the first time, I am grateful I got sidetracked from my task at hand and watched most of this video. I definitely am saving this and returning to watch it to the end. For now, I want to thank everyone, the hosts of Disco and guest speakers being interviewed Kayla and Josh for the clarity on how to up the odds of getting your songs in the right hands of pros. The great news is - as someone who has always pulled the cart before the horse (sometimes with only 3 wheels), I always seem to accomplish my mission. With this Disco tool (once mastered), I will truly be able to, "fix the wheel that [IS] broken, and get my cart rolling in the right direction - horse before the cart! I am so excited to begin utilizing this tool and mastering all the features. Again...thank you for creating a universal means for both professional and aspiring creatives and artists in the music industry. You're heaven-sent. Disco sounds like it was heaven-sent. I can not wait to give this a go.
38:07 this is good advice. When considering an agent or a library I like looking at what's there first and try to find holes where I can fit something in
Hi, you can definitely make money as an artist when your music is used in film, tv, ads, video games etc. Sync agents are usually best placed to pitch your music for those opportunities.
These DISCO webinars just keep getting better. If you're into music supervision, this is definitely worth watching-more than once!
Glad you like them!
This was great! You guys shed a ton of light on the major areas I'm confused on!
Thanks for this and including chapter info. It was a music supervisors book that led me to disco long ago to try.
