I think there's a difference between being single for basically your whole life vs. constantly being in relationships. It's super important to have some time in your life alone, rather than just constantly jumping from relationship to relationship. Because truly, when you jump from relationship to relationship, often you don't really know who YOU are. And likewise, if you've never been in a relationship, perhaps it's time to take a look inward and see what is holding you back. Is it fear of letting someone in after being alone so long? Is it lack of putting yourself out there to try to meet people? I think there's nothing wrong with being picky about what you want and not settling - but if it's hindering you from actually meeting people, then it may be worth exploring and pushing yourself out of your comfort zones (and talk therapy can help with both sides of the coin as well, if it's accessible to you!)
