Juliet leaves the city to join her mother Karen on a visit to her late grandfather’s struggling ranch in the country. At the ranch, Juliet meets her grandfather’s horse Rodeo and young cowboy Monty. Monty agrees to secretly train her to compete so she can raise funds to keep Rodeo. In the meantime, Karen finds out that Hugh, her ex-fiancé, claims rights to the ranch, and the two battle while stirring up old feelings. It’ll take everyone coming together if they are going to save the ranch.

This is like every other horse movie ever created

Even though its like every other horse movie created, I'm so happy that the horses are bit less, I actually have faith in humanity a little now!
LET ME TELL YOU WHAT. I HAD A REAL BUCKIN GOOD TIME WATCHING THIS!
Now I believe there is room for improvement so it will be getting a 6 out of 10 from me.
Sandrifer Garlock (the mother who looks like a mix of Sandra Bullock and Jennifer Garner) is having that classic struggle where a single mother, who inherits a wild plantation/ranch down in he way hot summers of Louisiana, has to convince her bratty teenage daughter, Juliet (played by someone in her late 20s, possibly the gal from PLL and Ned's Declassifieds?) to leave their life behind in NYC and start a new chapter in their lives.
They get down there and Juliet immediately makes a black friend (at least they attempted diversity) near offensively named, Nan, and falls in love with a CGI horse named "Rodeo."
This movie has it all. Love, romance, tragedy, despair, broken hearts, SCANDAL, friendship, and inspiration.
This movie, despite that she falls in love with her mother's lover's nephew's brother's first cousin twice removed's fiance's father or something (almost too close for comfort), really provided a nice evening of laughs and memories.
Very clever title name too honestly. Quite superb!

What is off putting about this film is the fact that the daughter played by Nadine Crocker, looks absolutely nothing like a teenager. I had to go look up her age. The woman is 27, and playing a teen who can't do without Wi-Fi and the typical teen antics. There are plenty of younger girls it women who could've played her role. The whole cast are 25 and older for peeks sake.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate trashy family films at times - but this was appalling. The acting is pathetic and the story in general is so over done

Old man wonka: “why I don’t believe it she done tamed ol’ misery I reckon she ought to sign her up for the horuse show and save the farm”
*cut scene of Sarah sneaking out the house to ride her horse everyday until her mom finds out*
Mom: “young lady you are GROUNDED!!!! You are not allowed to compete in the horse show”
Staryah: “no Mom please” *runs away and almost gets hit by car but then the horse pushes the car out the way"
Mom: “fucjkfidnb maybe that’s a good horse after all”

This movie confused me, so Monty and Juliet fell in love, but Montys uncle and Juliet’s mom got married in the end, doesn’t that make Monty and Juliet’s relationship incest? Other than that the movie was kinda stereotypical. 6/10 stars in my opinion
