WOW!!! Got to love it. Another month or two and we will be doing it all over again. Come on Winter. Can't wait to try the M1000T with the new 3"X174 track and the new Twisted 1200 top end. The adrenaline is flowin already. Great Vid.
***** It is "You are" or "You're", and it is "an idiot", and it should be "on *a* two-stroke", and your sentence is incomplete, but I digress, I'm the idiot.
Great video and thanks for posting. Im from Michigan and have never rode a sled in the mountains so it appears to be very slow speed compared to what we do here on the trails but god damn it sure does look like fun. I can only imagine how much gas they eat up working so hard all the time. Again nice video!!
kurtis yacyshen Whatever. Have you ever ridden conditions like that? Neither have I, but I do know that type and amount of snow sucks major HP. If they're at any altitude, they've lost even more. I think he did very well, and I'd love to ride his "shitty bitch sled" in those conditions. I wonder where it was, and how high up? Which machine?
@mmiguy2306 with your awesome ability to judge snow depth from your lazy boy you should work for NOAA! LOL your actually right...it was more like 6 feet....but I was worried some internet know it all would try to call me out...so I shorted the real snowfall by a foot.
@ColbyACracer For sure...breaking trail to get to the goods...burning belts and fuel! We had to leap frog from stuck to stuck and still barely made it the 8 miles to the top
@tudizzle HAHA thats funny then... because my friend has a stock apex and goes to revelstoke in b.c. every year and goes through 6 feet of powder without getting stuck. Your friend with the apex should invest in floater ski's it'll keep your sled up and doesn't plow snow which keeps ever sled from climbing hills and from going through powder.
The good: the snow, the trail breaking, and the scenery. The bad: the way you treat your sled. Running that thing damn near full throttle for 3+ minutes, then shut it down after barely 5 seconds of idle...money may not be any object to you, but fuck dude, have a little respect for the machine that is providing your good times.
+Dylan Meier actually this has nothing to do with buying used sleds. you can buy plenty of god used sleds without worry. it is just a matter of how it is taken care of.
Where is this paradise? Whenever i stop like that the engine heatslowly sinks it down. This is what i remember about sledding as a kid when there were hardly any riders around
@GearHead1625 Hahah Yep, People always go by what they see once, I seen TWELVE brand new Xps gettin pulled out of the mountains, and around 9 get stuck half way up a mountain =P
@Parker565 I agree....I guess sarcasm is hard for some to understand. See my other posts about sleds.....sleds are more alike than differenent. They all rip. Just get one and have fun riding it.
@tudizzle Good play on words and ya floater ski's help by keeping you ski's up if your not other wise catwalking up on through... look at the video apex turbo has balls... insane
@crazybmxer876 yep when a sled sucks....it has nothing to do with the rider sled brands are more alike then they are different....pick one...ride it....and smile. snow is piling up here....won't be long now!
@Ken25180 I'm confused does he go through the 6 feet of powder or does he have floater skis and go over? your taking this too serious...we were just having fun on snowmobiles No Apex was harmed in the filming of this vid
@Parker565 Lol might be on average, but I have seen a couple of loyal cat owners switch brands because of clutch and drive system problems. I personally have never owned an Arctic Cat and never intend to. Had 3 Yamaha's, 2 Ski-Doo's, and currently have a Polaris and my next sled is gunna be another Ski-Doo. As far as i'm concerned they are the most reliable sleds on the market.
Yeah, a good two-stroke loves full throttle all day long.
Sweet video.
"I don't need more power" said no one ever.
sweet video! thanks for not ruining it with music over dubs!
WOW!!! Got to love it. Another month or two and we will be doing it all over again. Come on Winter. Can't wait to try the M1000T with the new 3"X174 track and the new Twisted 1200 top end. The adrenaline is flowin already. Great Vid.
I haven't seen this video in a very long time, glad I found it again. One of the greatest ever. Snowmobile Nirvana.
This is just a dream . . .
Sick dude! One of those moments that we all live for...DEEP SNOW, untracked road, blue sky, and a buddy to help you dig out.
This video....on full screen......with the sound up......Makes teh hair on my arms stand on end! Very nice!!!!
Holy shit thats amazing! Keep up the awesome videos!
Really nice to see someone who can ride without constantly blipping the throttle like they have tourettes of the thumb.
*****
It is "You are" or "You're", and it is "an idiot", and it should be "on *a* two-stroke", and your sentence is incomplete, but I digress, I'm the idiot.
Letting off throttle gives a break to the engine and lets it remember what its doing... throttle out all the time is bad business for its heart 😁
Ben Cbr600
Huh. Makes me wonder how my 2-stroke ultralight engines ever survived long full throttle climbouts.
"Remember what it's doing"? Seriously?
Ben Cbr600 Rest assured, you took it to where you intended.
ya, never let off the throttle in deep powder.
Great video and thanks for posting. Im from Michigan and have never rode a sled in the mountains so it appears to be very slow speed compared to what we do here on the trails but god damn it sure does look like fun. This is great i would absolutly love to be doing this right now. The xps especially are a blast to break trail with.
You know the snow is deep when you have to hold it to the bar when you're going downhill....
Its called a bitch sled with no hp and a shitty track
kurtis yacyshen Whatever.
Well i have a 2013 yamaha nytro turbo that has a 4" paddletrack and its 255hp and i go up to boulder mountain bc all the time so...
kurtis yacyshen Good for you. We can't all afford $16K sleds, though.
kurtis yacyshen the biggest paddle track that is on the market is a 3" paddle. I smell some bull shit...
@Ken25180
we brought an apex but had to leave it at after the first stuck 40 yards from the lot...we did not have enough guys to lift the tank out! ;)
these are days you kill for! that XP had its tongue out, what an awesome day i bet! thats just on the trail in
@mmiguy2306
with your awesome ability to judge snow depth from your lazy boy you should work for NOAA! LOL
your actually right...it was more like 6 feet....but I was worried some internet know it all would try to call me out...so I shorted the real snowfall by a foot.

We got 2 feet of fresh powder dumped on us last night. Thinking of taking my friends ski doo 600 renegade out for a rip.
A trial rider with an old sleds worst nightmare
yea no shit!!!!
what?
The good: the snow, the trail breaking, and the scenery. The bad: the way you treat your sled. Running that thing damn near full throttle for 3+ minutes, then shut it down after barely 5 seconds of idle...money may not be any object to you, but fuck dude, have a little respect for the machine that is providing your good times.
Nice!!!!
What type of helmet camera did you use? The quality is excellent. Love the video, great stuff!
@GearHead1625
Your right....people always enjoy a stuck session :)
where dos this trail lead to ? i bet the entire day was epic
I want to go to there!
nice!
epic!
and did you get stuck at 304?
And this is why you do not buy used mountain sleds ;)
+Dylan Meier actually this has nothing to do with buying used sleds. you can buy plenty of god used sleds without worry. it is just a matter of how it is taken care of.
that is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.
Wow that’s sick and that’s snowmobiling at its finest
that gets tiring and than a belt breaks really sucks
Kule..Jealous as hell.!!
Where is this paradise? Whenever i stop like that the engine heatslowly sinks it down. This is what i remember about sledding as a kid when there were hardly any riders around

Nevermind these na-sayers! This is a great vid. Big pow-pow, definitely 5+ ft deep. I can only dream of riding in that stuff. Luv your other vids.
