"Danger" was released on August 20, 2014, and serves as the title track and for BTS’ first studio album “Dark & Wild.” The song also appears as the fifth track on CD1 of their first anthology album Proof.

Fun fact: V was wearing a wig and he was supposed to cut his hair but he did cut his real hair, hahahah. I love old BTS. So powerful. They had such a powerful energy. This is the BTS working non stop to get to where they wanted to be. The old choreos were synched to perfection. Nowadays they have perfected their personal styles at dancing but in the early days they practiced so much to do perfect choreos. It was amazing.

The thing I love most about their choreo videos is the way you can hear their feet hit the floor at exactly the same time. The unison is just incredible.
Ahhh it's the eyeliner era! 😆 This is also a fave of mine amongst their school trilogy albums. I love how Jared pointed out that vocal break by Jin and Jimin. This is my most fave part of the song!! 🥰
And out of all BTS' choreo/dance practices, this is my MOST fave. Even up to now. The moves, the transitions, they're just so flawless and really a swag!! 😎

Yes, the eyeliner era is full of good memories. The whole album is a gem. They had a little something extra in their eyes, and not just the eyeliner... the hunger for recognition and success! The amount of work to achieve such a result is incredible. They are just amazing 💜

I just wanted to say this as others have said but at the end when Tae cut his hair he actually cut some of his real hair and he was so embarresed about this that he got shy.
Also the MV for Danger is amazing as always and the choreo is on point like always.
Also the vocals and raps are just so powerful in this song and also this is a side note I love this emo type era of JK.

I don't know if you guys know this but the Rise of bangtan docu series has recently been deleted. 😭
"Rain" is one of my all-time BTS faves and it's on this album. I love the vibe of it - relatable and comforting, giving the everyday a poetic edge (something Namjoon especially does so well, as well as Suga and J-Hope). It's kind of like the 'older brother' song to JK's solo in later years (was it 2020?) which he wrote himself and released as a gift for Army, called "Still With You" which is even more chill but also meaningful.
Yes!! Rain and Embarrassed are my fave tracks here (also my top 1 & top 2 BTS songs tied with Tomorrow, Jump and cypher pt.2 from SLA 😂) and it really matches Still with you perfectly 🤝
In regards to the difference between ‘you’re in danger’ compared to ‘you’re dangerous to me’ due to translation it makes me think of Eric Nam.
Eric Nam is a Korean American who moved to Korea to become a kpop singer.
In an interview with Zach Sang, Eric talked about how much translating a song can change it. He had one song that in English was called I Don’t Miss You At All, but when he translated it to Korean the whole song changed so it became titled I Miss You.
The complexities of language.
(Minor random fact: Eric happens to be a close friend with BTS. They met early in their career when they were on a show Eric hosted called After School Program)
i love both old and new bts... acknowledging the quality of their old stuff and rawness of their talents from day 1 and their core of being amazing artists is what i love to do. sometimes when people say they've grown so much, it almost feels like they got better. no, they've been delivering greatness consistently for the past decade and that's what's respectable and puts them on top. 💜

If you’re going to start doing album reviews I suggest you do them in chronological order and start with their first album ❤ I love a lot of their slower B-sides on their earlier albums such as Like, Coffe and Just One Day.

Their albums follow a storyline remember and even the first 3 are of the school trilogy and then for me, Danger serves as the turning point before they launch of into the HYYH era. It's more of that hybrid of what they were and what they will become.
This right here was the BTS era in which I became their fan. Like, I knew them because I remembered watching their first debut songs with my friend at the time and him wanting me to come to LA to see them (which to this very day I REGRET *ya girl didn’t have the money at the time*) and although I did enjoy those, this theme for some reason caught my attention (maybe because at the time I was really into dark stuff ha!) . Anyways, I enjoy all their songs but this album is a gem indeed.

And the first time I watched this dance practice, just by watching I felt out of breath!
Their Album "Dark&Wild" cover literally shows the line "WARNING ⚠️: Love hurts, it causes anger, jealousy, obsession, why don't U love me back?"
Which is why the title track "Danger" has such toxic and quite dark lyrics because the side effects of love is the focus of the Album

Such as referring to "stranger danger" that we are taught as children. So that would mean whoever they are singing to is like a stranger now and strangers are danger/dangerous 🤔💜

This is one of my favorite old school BTS songs!! When promoting it on After School Club there was a note saying that the song is about a guy warning a girl to stop playing with his heart. BTS has said that the choreography for Danger is one of the most difficult if not the most difficult for them to learn and perform. The chorus is my favorite part. I wish they would bring it back someday, I don't know how likely that is. While they have been known to bring back No More Dream and Boy In Luv along with others from the Skool Era every now and then for award shows and special occasions, bringing back a full performance of Danger with the choreography would be a big ask.

not sure if you guys will see this comment but there’s a remix of Danger that more than half of ARMYs don’t even know exists; it’s SUCH an underrated but amazing version of the song that I think you guys will really appreciate! It’s called the Danger Mo-Blue-Mix and brings such a blues-y vibe to this track… the feature on this remix also adds so much soul to this song :) This was also one of BTS’s first few collabs in their career!
