Why is Nike giving Travis a signature shoe and only releasing 3000 pairs. I get the supply and demand shit and creating hype but if 2000 out of the 3000 go to bots anyways and their customers can’t ever get a pair how does that make any sense. They know they’re releasing these for resellers which doesn’t profit them at all.

@@elroyskicks9127I agree…I did get a W on the shoe but I think Nike was smart with this approach with it being a new silhouette..wouldn’t want to make a shit ton for them to sit..maybe there will be more with the dark mocha..I like them better
@@elroyskicks9127 that’s what I don’t get what are they building hype for if the people who are hyped about the shoe can never actually get it, at least from Nike themselves. Like I said they know that the people winning these raffles is almost 100% resellers which doesn’t make them any more money than selling it to the customers directly. I’m not saying they should make enough pairs for everyone I get that the exclusivity of the model gets them hyped up more but 3000 pairs is a ridiculously low amount.
If we compare it to what yeezy drops used to be like. Everyone at least had a shot and you’d hit on like 20-30% of the raffles you entered. Now looking at Nike drops I’ve never won a raffle on the Nike sneakers app in the 5 years I’ve been using it with probably around 30 raffles I entered on there.
