REVIEW VIDEO
Please note, the RRP £££$$$ I'm required to quote by distributors who supply me goods can often be excessive. ALWAYS ask your DEALER for their world retail price! I have been told the RRP has dropped on this one already!
My primary role and full-time job is to produce written reviews but CZcams and social media is growing quickly so please follow me on Facebook, “Chris Parkin’s Shooting Sports”. Or Instagram “chrisparkin431” for regular updates on what I am using, what’s in for review? I do not organise special setups for smooth video; you get real world footage of my experiences with the products in question. I’m not paid for content or to advertise my opinion on CZcams so am free to give MY OPINION, yours may differ. Mine is based on Ten years of paid professional written reviews of shooting equipment in magazines in England, U.S. Europe and Scandinavia. I do not buy items and have no reason to say nice things about what I have invested or wasted my own income in, I just say it how I think it when I encounter it. If you like this channel and would like to help support the reviews via PayPal, please use... www.paypal.com/paypalme/chris... ...and contribute to a growing video channel with weekly updates both on reviews and advice on getting the most from your equipment. Although I have a Patreon account, it seems am awkward format with losses to you and I through their services which are not particularly appropriate to my channel so I would prefer Paypal if you are in the mood!

Thanks for finally getting around to do this video. I know you are busy but I have been eagerly waiting for this review as I am seriously considering to buy one of these. You just can't bet an honest review which we get from you. keep up the good work and stay safe.
Nice review Chris. I bought the HIK Owl 35 earlier in the year and now I never go hunting without it, very impressed.
Nice piece of kit and not to expensive if you like it must be good keep the video's coming
That was a very useful video. That looks to be a cost effective option to get into thermal. I only want a thermal to detect if animal are in the paddock. I would use my ir to confirm what it is. Having never used thermal it’s very difficult to determine what will work in the conditions I shoot in. The tech industry is renowned for focussing on all the features not necessarily on what you really need the tool to do. I dislike paying for performance capabilities way above what I actually need.
Very helpful. Thank you!
Couldn’t wait for your vid, so bought one a few weeks ago. I love it. The only thing I can’t find is the hot tracking., having said that not really missing it, a bit of practise with the front focus ring and the picture can be pretty crisp. Awesome bit of kit to use and would not be without it now. Easily spotted and identified a fox out at 300 and cows out as 650.
Y las liebres la ves
Chris, the zoom button also refreshes the image if you long hold it.
I think these are available in the US under the brand AGM Global Vision. Seems to be the AGM Taipan TM19-384.
Excellent video as usual Chris...When you charge the Hik thermal unit how long does it take to charge from say one bar on the unit to fully charged ..Thanks.Mine is charging with the light on red at the moment?
I have never timed it, I just plug it in before I go to bed
I am looking to buy a thermal imaging monocular, I will be mostly using it for watching badgers and other animals at close range, probably less than 50 m. I want clarity of image, which would you recommend? I can go up to £2500 but do I need to spend that much? I don’t want to skimp and have to buy twice.
Hello chris would you see any benefit in going with the hik micro lynx 25 over the 19 minimal gain?, I handled the lynx 19 in local rfd really good impressive thermal
I would always go for the larger objective if affordable, better improves further
Nice bit of kit only trouble with mine is the menu language has gone from English to I no not what and I can't get it back driving me mad help please someone 😢
Ouch, the dreaded symbols of other languages. If you ring elite optical, I'm sure they will talk you through a factory reset

Yes
Hi is there a lot of difference between the 10 and the model you have here ?
It's the difference of the objective lens size
