Hi everyone!
I was contacted by a subscriber, Amanda Cabrera, a few weeks ago. She asked if I could do a tutorial on her own original bracelet design, and so in this tutorial, you'll learn how to make it!

Just a little tip that may prove useful for some: When doing all types of "scale" or "tail" types of designs where only one pin bar is needed, I just take them completely off the loom (off the base plates) and just use/hold the single pin bar. I got to the point that, for a while, all I was doing were those types of pieces so I just ordered an extra pin bar to use specifically for the "scales and tails." It does take a few minutes to get used to holding just a single pin bar, but I think it's easier for this type of design once you are used to it.
WOW! I just LOVE this bracelet! I usually don't make bracelets with the side of the loom, but this one is just too good to pass up!

I just finished making this bracelet, it's beautiful. I've made it for my daughter. It is not the easiest bracelet, but is worth the effort as it looks fantastic!

I started with the begin of the double capped dragonscale. I used also the double white twisted (left counter clockwise and right clockwise) troughout the whole bracelet to make it less twisty. I ended with the double capped dragonscale. It is just a thought. It wears a lot more comfortable then when i make it like you did. Plus the ends are a bit nicer. The tutorial is awesome and totally not difficult at all. I watched twice and made it easily 😊👏
My first try, band broke when I was almost done.
My second try, a band was sticking out when I finished.
My third try, finally perfect.

Yeah uhhh... it really doesnt matter how old you are. It depends on how long you have been doing rainbow loom. And one thing that I still can't understand is the reason why you felt the need to put your age on the internet. I mean seriously? Haven't you ever heard of cyberstalking?
Here's a little tip when doing these kinds of video's what really worked on other channels. Just film yourself making the bracelet slowly, telling yourself notes and such, and when editing, implement your scripted voice over to prevent 'uhm', 'so' and 'erh' from making unwanted appearances. (This means you write down what you do, record that, place it over the proper times of videos. I'd like to show you some results but I've only found non-English channels that do it.) Yes, it is a difficult design, no that's not a reason to have a video with 30% of useless sounds and 20% repetitions. Video itself was quite clear so keep doing that, just stop interrupting yourself so much. That's the charm of youtube, good luck + have fun!

Done on my first try! You really don't actually need to be at an intermediate/advanced level to do this bracelet, the only thing I can make besides from this are fishtails...so yeah. Oh, and once you understand the hooking process it's super easy after a couple of tries.
It was so HART to make😫 I'm so proud that I'm done now and it looks awesome!

when I make one of the "scale" bracelets I put the finished parts on the pins so they don't bunch up and get in the way

So, just a question...love this bracelet design and your tutorials, but my biggest problem when trying to make bracelets on 1-4 pins is knowing when to stop. Is there a general rule of thumb on this?

You should've made more of her bracelets or charms. Because if she talks alot that means there's confusing parts in the bracelet.

Oh my gosh, it took forever but I finally finished it. And trust me, guys, it's so worth it to make this amazing bracelet! Just make sure you have a huge time slot before you start, unless, I mean, you don't mind leaving it unfinished to work on later.
