The way he positions himself.. that makes most of his goals tap in or 1 V 1 s vs the keeper.. looks easy but ridiculously difficult to pull off.. making those inch perfect runs.. anticipating where the ball may land or bounce off.. what a player..

Yea, you can clearly see the split second that LITERALLY EVERYONE including the defenders and gk are still stopped and staring at the ball in motion, but Müller immediately dashes almost the same moment the ball touched the keepers gloves. He's insane.

It's not only goals...his assist stats are world class. The probably biggest problem for any defense...he plays unconventional, knows where to run or stand and isn't selfish...

I've watched him play for years and years. And I still don't know what his position is. Is he a striker? Attacking midfielder? He's like this..opportunist/scrapper for goals in the penalty area. Any loose balls or chances missed by his teammates, he takes them. Always felt like his goals are out of pure luck

For they are IMPROVISORS, using whichever tool serves best within the moment.
