As a very late blooming violin player, I have a great fondness for this suite. The second movement is the first solo piece I ever did. Your group played excellently, and the principal violinist nailed her part.
♥️♥️♥️
Just to mention how unlikely coincidences can be, a neighbor in my town turns out to be the US chapter president of the RVW Soc.
Never heard before. Glad to have made its acquaintance. Precision playing. Bravo! Thank you for the video.
what?
Love this suite. Our chamber ensemble played a few of these in high school. I found the suite for piano and have been playing that, but it's definitely meant for string orchestra.
Sublimely performed!
Sublime conducting!
Glad you enjoyed!
The most poignant piece of music. My favorite of all time.
Thank you for listening. Hope you enjoyed! :)
Beautiful music! The interruptions caused by the CZcams ads are a little jarring though.
Glad you enjoyed it.
I've heard this played poorly by overly ambitious conductors and bad orchestras... but this performance revived this piece for me. I always hate to see people butcher Vaughan Williams, but when it's done right, always sublime.
Glad you enjoyed it :)
Hear, hear
James Brown gave us such excellent bowings. No, the other James Brown.
