"Lean back, keep drive, it will carry you up..... like a magic carpet"
Adam: “do you believe me?”
Me: “no, but fuck it.”
Then I proceeded to embarrass myself further.
@@TusharBurman17 it's a credit to you for completing the full lap. I was going to let you get out of it anyway ... 👊
Best line ever
Same as the Duke, I suppose. Just put the front wheel of the 390 Adventure on any of the Indian made Dukes (390/250/200) along with similar tyres and voila! You have the 390/250/200 Adventure.
@@twistednemo and the suspension and some more stuff like the frame... yeah no big difference at all :)
Was excited to see you on the Indian review videos, but yours shows the reality of what happened that day 😅
Reiman them a new one
I was keen to see even if one of them would be interested for the next loop.
Who is here after NIKHIL's insta story??
MN SQUAD attendance here

But y nikhil said to watch this
Fuddu video sala story toh aise dala pta nai kya stunt honge
Me
I have watched almost every Indian review of this bike. Everyone was telling like "a good tourer". Most were not satisfied regarding its off-road potential (may be because of alloy wheels 😃). Now i understood the reason. We actually need off-road specialists to review bikes like these
yup engine wnt last long keep on riding like him
Yeah, but the Adventure is only a little more capable than the Duke for off road use. I mean look at the specs! One inch more ground clearance and just a hair over an inch more suspension travel than the Duke. Other than that it has a 19" front rim and better ergonomics but it is a moderate boost to off road capability at best.
Totally. It was so sad to watch these guys with their tails between their legs.... Motorcycle journalist and they just don't know how to ride.... Or, just have the balls to give it a shot...
You will most definitely bend the front wheel if you ride this bike like the guy in the video.
Adam should have come to northeast india.. a lot better off road riders here..
Only a skilled rider like Adam can ride the KTM the way its meant to be ridden.
I hope our Indian Journalist have learned a thing or two from you.
Its soothing to see you ride.
Been your fan since "The Himalayan Hero " came out.
A skilled rider like Adam can probably pelt a Harley off road. Unfair comparison methinks.
@@twistednemo True that! Its just that I got carried away ! I know we have CS santosh who is the only Indian to compete in Dakar !
@@configT Indeed. And given how expensive it is to import and maintain a dirt/rally/enduro bike in India, not many people can actually get to that skill level.
@@twistednemo Totally agree :) we are not that prevelidged!
@@configT yeah
If im one of those journalist I would be so stoked to get to ride with Reiman. 3:50 But the question my friends who is ready to complete the loop and take on the mountain once again?😂 Look at their faces 😂
I would have taken that loop once again just to spend time with adam😉
Hahaha, they were destroyed! :D
@@gitesh4646 all day! and remember it for life👍
Oggy's face was like never again🤣
My answer was “yeah, no.” But we did anyway.
Riemann, you've just blown their minds. I'm sure that there's a million Indian non-journalists who are itching to get their hands on this bike. It is the India-scaled version of what the 990+ bikes are to the rest of here. The seed is planted.
Except that the 990 is a proper adventure bike with proper off road kit. The 390 Adventure, on the hand, is basically the 390 Duke with an extra inch of suspension travel and ground clearance, a 19 inch front wheel and better ergonomics.
Also, you talk about Indian "non-journalists" while ignoring the socioeconomics of the country. There is hardly any culture of dirt bikes here as not many people are super rich that they can afford dirt bikes that cost more than most Indian cars. Dirt bikes are not street legal so it is clearly a luxury item out of the reach of a typical upper middle class household. There are very few people in India with the skills to match Adam's. Maybe even in single digits. It takes a lot of money and overcoming a lot of social resistance to get full time into becoming a pro dirt rider or even to develop intermediate skills.
PS: The seed for adventure riding was planted by a bike with a stronger off road focus - the Himalayan. But even that statement is misplaced because we have been going adventure riding on street bikes for decades now.
yep he blow thei mind but thats not how daily user would love to ride their bike. not good
@@twistednemo Makes me wonder if I should just go for the BS6 Duke 390?!
@@twistednemo **Yawns at the jingoism **
When I watched the recent reviews of Indian moto journalist of the 390 adventure, they said its not a capable off roader. But its a good road bike. Now I know why. This sweet talking journalist are the ones that is not capable of riding offroad.
100% correct. Now the indians are challenging everyone to come ride on their dangerous city roads as if that justifies anything.
Praveen Sampath My wife can ride circles around these fools. I’m Asian and these fuckers embarrassed the entire Asian race!
After watching those Indian dudes ride, I feel like Graham Jarvis !
Yeah, I suddenly feel less of an amateur.
But can you stay alive in a motorcycle in busy Indian road :D , that is a whole different jungle, which you can only experience by riding here :)
But u can't ride like us on indian roads😂...
That's the comenent I feel the whole time
🤣👍
Nikhil bhai ke bnde hit like
Always great to see something new from you Riemann ...thanks for posting, cheers!
"Your land of adventure is waiting for you..." Wow! That's why I love Adam!
Great work as usual. Will be excited to see this one come out. There are quite a few great adventure riders in India I know but like you said it's a HUGE country and it's not at all common.
Indian automotive 'journalists' - now, you know who you are ....😂
the ktm390 takes a beating when Reimann gets a hold of it!!
Thank you for sharing this video. Now I understand where our most of Indian journalists/ biker stand. ;-)
Nicely done Adam.. I was holding off for "real rider" to test out the 390's potential. Thank you.
This is what i was looking for 😍😍 Thanks Adam.
Great video start to finish and a fun and long awaited bike.. "this is the beginning of adventure motorcycling in India", is a bit of an exaggeration, mate😅🍻
Stoked! Just picked one up here in SoCal. It’s going to compliment my EXC in our Souther California terrain. Thanks for the great videos 🤘
This had me in stitches🤣 not the most enthusiastic group you pushed them too hard Adam. The magic carpet line was classic.👍🇦🇺🍺
Thanks Adam for the lovely briefing in the Park Ferme. Would be laying my hands on the Beauty very soon.
Carry you up like a magic carpet... I love it
Also, people who still complain that ktm didn't provided spoke wheels for an ADV... Please master this bike and then complain about it
Alloy wheels tend to break when riding off road. Spoked wheels will allow the bike to go farther off the beaten path.
@@xterrential Agreed. But out of 1.3B people in India, how many of them does hardcore off roading. If there are any such enthusiasts, they will definitely not look at this bike as this an entry level model. In the video he clearly specified that KTM wants to introduce Indians to off road. Also think from cost benefit ratio and that's why they even ripped off adjustable front suspension to keep the cost down.
feels great to see a video shot in India on your channel
Your video of Himalaya with your father on hero honda xpulse inspired me 6 years ago to take up riding at ripe age of 23..
Only sagar thanked you in all there vlogs.
Real faces of so called CZcamsrs of Inida :)
But the question my friends who is ready to complete the loop and take on the mountain once again?😂 Look at their faces :)
I am sure that Sagar would have done a good job on this trail.
Our youtubers are talented enough to make a review video out of the event even though they were not able to complete the trail.
Grow Up - India Auto journalist. (Excluding Mr. Sagar)
Sagar is overhyped , a figure amongst ciphers.
can you ride in such terrain?
@@akashnag3879 I can - At least I will try doing it.
Mann you guys come to northeast.. we do off road terrains on our hero super splendour bikes 🤣🤣 with a machine like that .. that terrain is a highway for us.. not exagerating..i mean it
Such a dissappointment would'hve been for Adam at that very moment.. when he asked that question
Thanks Adam for another great video.
“Like a magic carpet” LOLLLL. I heard the slight hesitancy to show respect. That was good.
you cleared all my doubts buddy was literally confused by watching Indian reviews ....thanks a lot for this video will buy this soon
Hahaha royega tu hahah local bike leke royega hahaha
they are not used to ride while standing. that's why the RE himalayan is famous to them. they can slowly crawl those terrains while both feet on the ground.
"Probably the question is, my friends..." best sentence ever Adam :D
Great video love from India , hope u enjoyed here , i have Hero Xpulse
Awesome. I already knew the reality of fancy full packed riding gear wearing so called riders but you showed the truth on CZcams. I am already frustrated by the CZcams riders, commenters in this CZcams platform blabbering about their costly Bmw or triumphs, they know everything except Riding
Preach !
Adventure riding wakes up yore feel for nature and respect:)
Tell me a motorcycle joke:
Indian automotive 'journalists'.
You just hit the nail on head and took the words out of my mouth .
Lol. So true. No talent just few thousand followers on your social media account to be called an expert.
Could be true for except few.
They are not used to something with more then 125cc. 390 big bore :P
Tourer Jogia one of those journalist was a coach at California superbike school, don’t judge people if you don’t know anything about them
🏍🏍🏍 come on keep going 😂😂😂 thanks @ariemann... loved the vid!
3:31 Sarge 💚
Welcome to all adventures Indian riders. Your terrains and the capable machines are waiting for you. Let them do with the classic look but you go Ready to Race.
Now imagine these same journalists on a big 1290 super adventure on that same rocky uphill trail 😳. That comparison reveals how good the 390 adv is due to light weight for a beginner- average level rider.
The truth about skilled Indian Moto journalist at 3:55 😂
@@neel26nilesh Keep in mind that I rode an RC390 from Mumbai to Pune (3.5 hours), rode the ADV for 4 hours, had to film my own content and then ride back to Mumbai again. Not denying that I'm an offroad novice but its easy to criticize from the comfort of a computer chair. Also, while Adam didn't show it in the video, we did go for another round :D. Thoroughly enjoyed riding with you Adam. Hope to do this again sometime soon. Ride safe.
Oggy F Adam rode a 500exc across the Egyptian desert nearly on one wheel most of the time. His motocross background is everything.
@@1compaqedr8 yup, the man is a legend.
@@OggyF only video which I liked made on 390 adventure is actually from you.. I knew all the facts Mumbai to Pune and then 4hr ride from from instas stories...
But from above video it tend to be some of rider declined that offer unlucky you were also in that click...you may face the heat due to that but in reality you rode way more and better than other journalist( as seen on many other rider stories).....
In my above comment I mistakenly mention you and it was not in that sense...
@@neel26nilesh thank you. It's not easy riding, filming and editing on our own. We unfortunately don't have an entire team to work on our content. No offense taken brother, just clarifying my side of it. Ride safe ✌🏻
“I can show you the world...on a magic carpet ride...” A whole new KTM
i've been ride my duke390 off road for long time so no doubt this bike is going to be a perfect machine for me. Only thing that breaks my heart is KTM could call riders with off road experience to test the machine rather than calling fancy journalists who can't even saddle uphill on trail.
No doubt KTM is one of the best off road machine manufacturer worldwide. Just missed a chance to meet Adam. May be next time
nice one! good to see someone enjoying the bike, rather than crying about spokes and adjustable suspension.
Zero mirchi yo
driftjockey buying this one, or already bought the xpulse? :)
Thank God for this video ❤️😂 Auto journalists should educate themselves a lot more on all types of motorcycles before reviewing off-road motorcycles with fixed understanding and providing with misleading reviews.
Moto journalists are of what mopeds? So nice to see you put them up against all but small but real adventure motorcycle in a real motorcycle environment. I like brutal honest good or bad reviews . I currently own a 2016 Africa twin but I am seriously thinking of buy this KTM.
Your land of adventure is waiting for you 💕™️
Good to see the gentleman of Side Saddle and Curry Transport Quarterly finally getting their boots dirty.
hahahha
so, there will be tubeless spoked wheels as a power part or not?
nice one Sir that looked like a lot of fun😁🍺
Best review video i have seen till date ❤😅🤣
I would love to go again and again . On the ride
Super awesome. You killed all the moto journos and their reviews with that question 😂😂😂
Mindblowingggg!!!!!💯❣💥
Nikhil bhai squad hit like right now means right now😍😍😍
Adam Riemann ..you are giving a new definition to motorcyling .
its inspiring ..keept it up.
cheers bro.
Ultimate Adventure riding! Typical A Rieman style.
Another great promotional video for KTM. Suspension looks soft and those guys couldn't ride themselves out of a wet paper bag. I bet they fly through traffic though.
Awesome post. After watching this, the capabilities of the bike are appealing at this price point. By the way, Where is this track located? Surrounded by greenery looks beautiful.
The Himalayan and Xpulse are better off road bikes. This bike simply has more power but not enough suspension travel.
@@twistednemo HImalayan is RE which uses pig iron in their builts . Xpulse is better but lack any sort of power.
really loved the background music
I'm Happy that Reiman Sensei visited India sometime but at the same time it's an immense amount of pain for me to not be capable to meet him😭😭😭😭Seeing Sarge right on the front seat showed what level of extraordinary tutorial Sensei gave. Once in this life I'm visiting you master, no sh*t comes in middle👺👺👺👺👺
Came here from nikkkhil's instagram story, but the video is just 🔥🔥🔥🔥😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Hey Riemann you nailed it dude! You have mentioned exactly what they are..........
How funny those idiots couldn't coupe up with you, when I rode the trails in Fruita,CO Ive experienced it personally... Next time when you are in India let me know will ride together....
Hahhahaha
Love you man ❤️
I am just happy to see sarge here 👍👌
Cool looking little bike. Wonder if Australia will get it.
thanks nikhil bhaiya for recommending @mumbikernikhil
Awesome vodeoo
Hey Adam, Pat Brady here from the old trail and enduro club days. Just getting back on a bike after a short 20 year break ha ha.
Far out mate you have done some amazing things with your dirt bike passion, reckon you probably even have a car that has a clutch that works these days hey ;-)
Pat Brady ... no way! Good to hear you're finding your way back. Please tell me you still have that DR350 tucked away somewhere?
Ha ha i wish mate, just got a fire breathing ttr250 to ride to work on but I think I may be on a slippery slope now.
Mah man Brady.

Awesome! KTM is KTM!!
🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳 Love from India
Can't wait to see it with 6 people and the chickens on board going to town.
Hahahahha
The music is superb!
Good Job Mate.
Come to Chile! Lots of amazing places! 😊
those journalists made the bike underrated , i shud had seen this vid earlier
@ARiemann1 how many bikes do you own? obviously i get you dont own most on your channel but how many
Just the one bike, Bryce. The ol' 07 CR250R. Everything else I've had to give back.
Nice training session.
Very good bike 👍🏼
btw loved the video💜
KTM 390 got an insane amount of power, but the heating issues still not figured out. As said that on the first gear it can hit to 60 easily but moving forward on those first gear at the times makes your bike more heat up & pumped harder. Actually, it needs to be taken care of it.
How will the issue be 'figured out' ? IT simply cannot be becuase of the compression ratios these motors run at.
Love the music
By the the way, thanks Rieman for showing them how.
Thank man .. please educate us more about pro adventurous
Nice video...
I wish you would have explored few places in Karnataka south India sir. When your in Indian next time pls do visit 😊
Exellent off road review
390 adventure 😍
Looks just like a 2016 Duke with new fork settings and maybe a different spring??
Damn nice video!:)
"Come oooooon, keep going!".
Like they enjoy being stuck.
Hahahah, he is literally pissing in their mouths.
These guys remind me of when I worked in the IT department for a magazine company. This "Technical Writer" who writes about computer gear would regular call the IT department (usually me) to get one of his gadgets to work. It was so sad.
I don't really even care that they can't ride off-road. That none of these guys were like "Yeah, let's do the loop!"... All talk. No action. So sad...
All show and no go , its the natural order in all of South Asia.
Here after mn shout out
Me watching this video, going "aaauuuuukaaaaaattttttt!!" in my head
Wow!!
Nothing says looking after the customers that built your company with an official launch like doing it in a country where you have zero customers
Good call.
Zero customer?
@@raw7s784 yes zero. How many already ride ktm motorbikes.
Yes big potential market but u completely missed the point of my comment
@@Bunno1177 please look at stats before making a comment like this. KTM's ADV bikes are new to us, but India has been one of the top-selling markets for the 200, 250, 390 and recently also the 125, both Duke and RC counterparts. Heck, they're all made in India, for the rest of the world.
