    Hello Caleb,
    Very nice, I have been checking out videos on CZcams for a while.
    I am an ISA Certified Arborist and am involved in my local chapter very heavy. This video shows the every day climber how to be safe and also efficient. Keep doing you brother.

    Nice job rope man. Climbers get all the praise but a good rope man is like a solid line for a quarter back, it makes all the difference in the world

    Guys y'all did a great job!! I saw the square knot for bringing up the bull rope! I love to have a groundie full time! That knows his knots and how to run a rope!! And oh how David Driver would love this video! The man that invented the X rings!

    Awesome job. I wish somebody would teach my groundman the concept of letting the wood run a little bit. Nothing like being in the top of the tree and getting jerked back and forth cuz the guy on the ground don't know what he's doing. It's hard to find a good groundman where I'm at. Once again awesome job on the tree.

      Thanks man! At this company we all climb we all run the bucket all work the ground all grind stumps, super well rounded crew! On this job the foreman is up and I’m on the ropes for him. Thanks again for the compliments!
      Be safe

    Nice job. Not much to find fault with. If I had to add something I'd say I did not see any notches or back cuts taken and it appeared you almost ran your saw into the rigging rope because of it. Take the notch out or make your back cut (no step cut just come exactly into the back cut) then set up the rigging...and you won't have to get so close to the lowering line or risk hanging wood and peeling off into your lanyard. Cheers.

    I'm reluctant to say, i don't respect many people, but in this video i respect this climber with the beard. treebeard? Shawn Rowley is his name maybe? A small amount of his hardware seemed like a video plug, but most of it was real stuff. I respect him.

    What sena intercom do you use, and do you like it? I've been trying to find something to more easily communicate with the ground crew without having to yell. I was looking at sensear because they're hearing protection and an intercom but they're around $400 a unit

    • @anthonyscaptura8595
      @anthonyscaptura8595 Před 5 lety

      Our company uses the Pfanner Protos helmets with Sena intercoms built in. They are expensive. However; they are helmets (head protection), built in face shield that flips up out if the way if needed, earmuffs that tuck out of the way if needed, vents that can be opened or closed, and the comms will connect to a phone as well. They work a long ways away as well. Expensive but well worth it bro.

      @pproh608 Před 5 lety

      The Sena smh10 is the go to right now. www.sena.com/motorcycles-powersports/communication
      It can be retro fitted to alot of helmets in under 10 minutes. I got one on eBay for $100 and had it installed and working on a kask super plasma helmet in 10 minutes. There are some decent videos on CZcams on how to install. These can link up to 4 helmets.

    Quick question at 9:33 when tieing back into the tree what's the name of the knot you use. And is that a replacement for a bowline?.
