- Yes, you read that right. We're looking at a STICK SHIFT GTO that rips! As the former owner of one of these things, I can say that it's pretty rare to come across a fast stick shift car. Don't quote me on it but this might be one of the fastest stick GTOs that's still together these days!

Unexpected, build you one and put it into the nines. It's never been done with a GTO. You could be he first.
Let's see it. Build a 15k engine from erl performance and see how that goes for you.

Barely quicker than my manual transmission 3v that only traps 128. Driver mod needed, but guy built a nice GOAT.

BigKleib34 I said quicker. Mine is about a half second slower. High 6’s in the 1/8. Stock suspension (watts link) on 17” DR’s. Stock manual trans. You got my car at SCT OKC in the ecoboost video.

HLAM - stands for "Hey Look, A Mustang." Refers to the fact that everyone and their grandma drives one, and that you can't go five minutes without seeing one. It's the "me too" car of sports cars. "Oh you have a Mustang? Me too."

Agreed. Really has enough power to go 8's in a good chassis. But I'm dumb and stubborn and like messing with the GTO, it's different.
With that much power, you should be in the 9s. You are losing a second with that manual trans.

Dalton Winfield unfortunately i have the stock M32 in my goat, but changes are coming soon as well.
I feel your pain. I've been nursing the stock trans in this car while I've been working on suspension issues, but I think it's finally done. It's super notchy and doesn't want to shift at high rpm anymore, so we're rebuilding it before we take it out again.

Doesn't know how to drive it . Love to get these guys in a race and tree them , then run the dial in and make them put it on the trailer .

10.1x? in my stick shift gto back in 2012ish. It was 760rwhp and cut a 1.52 60'. I had a F1A as well. Video in my channel. My car now has a 4L80E. It went 9.70s with a little more boost and auto.
A friends stick GTO went 9.9x.
Both cars are street cars - full weight, all accessories, and just drag wheels.

When I say more than that, I mean he would need to cut more from the car. Just an auto swap would do it. 150lbs of static weight wouldn't push him over the edge

Rick Dangerous it still breathes fine with the wrap, but doesn't get oil residue on everything.
ah... i guess under big boost its possible the filter could expel some oily vapor... I would of thought that after every track day the car goes back to the shop and one of the things on the list of 100 things to do would be to clean the breather.... but I guess... good thing I have my catch can mounted outside the engine bay I suppose. Just saw it wrapped and was like... hmmm....
I usually empty the catch can when I change oil in the car. It doesn't accumulate much at all. I just hate the oil residue, because it blows all over everything with the cowl hood circulating so much air.
