My discription of clinical depression in case people don't fully understand the difference between being depressed ( or very sad) and clinical depression. Ex: imagine the worst day you ever had in your life feeling of crying, shaking, worthless not knowing how to live with the pain of life. But relive that day over and over for not just days but weeks and in my case at times months. That's clinical depression it's a ongoing pain that you have to live with by meds, therapy etc. Don't get me wrong anyone depressed Even not clinically is hurting and deserves the same understanding and love. Clinical depression is just a whole other beast to combat

I have three children that rely on me and need me.. I couldn’t move I just was so tired, didn’t wanna be around anybody I just want to sleep... Now I just push myself and I do everything I can to take care of myself because my children need me the most then anybody else.

ANYONE can feel those feelings. Whether you are a millionaire or scrambling to make it… YOUR FEELINGS ARE VALID. you don’t have to tell yourself “well my friend has cancer or my cousin lost her husband so what the hell am I depressed and anxious for?” No. Feelings are relative. Don’t compare feelings and circumstances with others. Feel what you need to feel. Reach out when you need to. ITS OK. You’ll be okay 🤎
