I work in a luxury hotel and our most expensive suites cost about the same as the suites in this video. I can tell you that the people who stay in those suites rarely pay the full price. When we have celebrities staying at our hotel they (or their agency) usually pay the lowest room rate and then get an upgrade. The hotels give celebrities presents and upgrades non stop so that they come back. In the hotel where I work it is an exception when somebody pays the full price. And if they do, they will get treatments like crazy.

If I was super rich I would stay at them all for one night with a decorator and point out everything I wanted to be in my home.
Because it's not for one person, usually they throw huge parties here full of drugs and sex, or they bring a bunch of family members with them or friends. Nobody is gonna pay that much money and not make the most of it

I agree with Deepjaya. Just visit their websites, once there, go to "reserve a room". Most of the time these rooms are "sold out". The only time they are not "sold out" is when the weather is awful. Like that hotel room in New York is only available during the winter season. But when the weather is pleasant during the summers, good luck securing the room for yourself! Rich people are more common than you might think.

The most expensive hotel is 30m a year. It's hard to enjoy yourself if you're self made and you can do the numbers. It doesn't matter how fluffy the pillows are, how nice the view is...you are getting fleeced. You could make a hundred people ecstatic with joy for that money.

How did you find out all the financial transactions of the clients who stayed in these rooms? Or are you just assuming? There will be plenty of people who've stayed here who will have given a lot more in charitable donations than you have or ever will in your life. I have had lunch at the Burj Al Arab and I must say, it was impressive. The hotel was beautiful, even in contrast with Dubai in general. They actually sold golden phones inside, and everything was just very luxurious. Though, I must admit, the food wasn't as good as the hotel itself. I expected better given that's somewhere billionaires dine at. The view, that was unmatched to be honest.
