    Not only is the kit from Harrier absolute quality, the customer service is exceptional. Kate and her team are making ultra running kit accessible for all. I bought the ultra bundle and jacket recently and I am so impressed with the quality of the kit. Well thought out, well designed and very well made. Thanks for another great video, Loyd. Its a relief to actually already have the stuff you are reviewing for once rather than having to go out and buy it!!

    Fantastic in depth review. I've just got my Kinder 10 and used it once in the Alps for a hike. Might be worth noting that other soft bottles do fit in the pockets, my Kalenji ones from my previous pack fit perfectly so at least I'm not wasting those. I am going to buy the bladder though as I like to have both options. Next outing is the Fairfield Horseshoe this weekend where I'm sure it will work perfectly!

    Great review. I've had my Kinder 10 for a couple of months and I'm very pleased with it.
    In your review you showed 3 front pockets on each side, large mesh at the bottom, water bottle in the middle and a top zip/ fold down pocket at the top (depending on which side). There's an additional pocket behind those too. Also worth noting the vest takes bladders with a top tube out over the shoulders, as well as at the bottom.
    I'm slightly disappointed they've done away with the front pole mountings, the back position is hard to get at and the poles bounce a bit too much (probably my running style).
    That minor point aside, it's a comfortable vest, and great value like the rest of Harrier kit.

    I wanted to like this vest but I found this product very poor. If you rely on using a bladder in the back then avoid this vest. It bounces around and into the back no matter how tight the feeble elastic draw strings are pulled. The poor design will make this uncomfortable and unusable on long runs. A badly placed phone pocket which can’t take a large modern phone is sort of ok at this price and quality but a full hydration vest which can’t hold the bladder is pointless. There are far better designed and better quality hydration packs out there which can support front and back hydration options. Returns with Harrier was a nightmare too.

    • @Run4Adventure
      @Run4Adventure Před rokem

      Sorry to hear that! I don't use a bladder in any of my hydration vest so I've not had any problems. Did you attach your bladder to the bladder loop in the vest to stop it sliding down? 🤔
      This is the first negative feedback I've heard about the Harrier brand, I hope you got things sorted out in the end 👍

    • @pheath6606
      @pheath6606 Před rokem

      @@Run4AdventureI was surprised too. I have tended to run more solo and less reliant on aid stations or just out where there are few shops, so I like to carry lots of fluid. I did attach the bladder but the loop is not adjustable , also as there are not any tightening straps near the top and the vest and it is quite loose there ( unless fully packed), the bladder jumps around and bangs into my back. Some other brands have external secure adjustments which can be used, on the move, as the bladder shrinks, they can be tightened, if that makes sense? Also as there is no padding between the runner’s back and the vest, all movement is felt and I suspect the bladder will quickly warm up with body heat in spring/summer, which can be a problem with bladders. The vest would probably be better if it wasn’t sold as a bladder supporting vest. That is just my take on it though, and you appeared to have fun with it in your test run 😊. If you use it again I would be interested in your experience with the bladder.
