0:55 The Great Hutt Council
3:17 Oruba the Hutt
4:31 Arok the Hutt
5:43 Jabba and Gorga the Hutts
8:09 Marlo the Hutt
9:29 Outro - Kråtké a kreslené filmy
Think itâs fun that Marlo recently got revealed to be the oldest of the council, sitting at nearly a thousand years old at the time of his murder during the galactic civil war
I read this as âMarioâ and was very confused
@@biffyqueen "It's a-me! Mario! Now hand over your spice trawlers or I'mma gonna kick-a your ass!"
Truly the godfather hutt
â@@leandraferesthogar7249 to me looks like el chapo guzmĂĄn or Pablo escobar
@@brayanfisk8769 I meant that literally. The guy's design was inspired by Marlon Brando's character in the Godfather
Marlo the Hutt needs more screen time
Agree
Marlo: You come to me on the day of my daughter's wedding and ask me to kill a man I do not know. I ask you, why should I kill this Boba Fett?
The Twins: Because that jerk stole uncle Jabba's stuff on Tatooine before we could!
lol.
8:36 itâs like the godfather.
â@@nathancruz9172 to me looks like el chapo guzmĂĄn or plablo escobar
Jabba is their cousin
Marlo the Hutt just channeling Mafia Don Energy
He looks like el chapo guzmĂĄn or pablo escobar
F for Oruba The Hutt. He was the Hutt with the best drip, & such, didnât deserve to die. đą
I bet his palace looks like Versailles keeping in with his style
Rip pizza the hutt
He was killed when he couldnât open his speeder , causing him to eta himself
We need to see more crime lords in star wars
Indeed. We know they exist in abundance - as evidence I cite the Republic Senate.
I'd rather see less. Am not very fond of sleazy underground elements in almost any form of fiction.
We could have actually explored crime stuff in Book of Boba, and not turn him into a mayor of one town... Bruh, what Favreau was smoking?
@@michaelandreipalon359 Understandable, for sure. It's not all bad to see the underworld, I think. Tragedies exist and ignoring them is unwise. Telling a tale to caution against that or one of redemption can make use of those tragedies.
@@dhaburuk6494 That may be so, but it just feels too dirty in my opinion. I'd rather focus on warfare, covert ops, and potential Multiversal ramifications than be almost puking for seeing one bit of seediness in an otherwise cleanable/purgable galaxy.
Hutts are never to be messed with for a good reason.
Tell that to Maul
When I was younger I asked my older peers if Jabba was a crime lord why didnât the police do anything to arrest him đ they didnât know much of Star Wars lore at the time but as I got older realized the Hutts were a self-governing entity where such laws and jurisdictions do not apply to them as long as they were within their borders of Hutt Space. This is why they employed smugglers and bounty hunters to do their dirty work for them when doing criminal activities outside of their borders. If they were caught the smugglers and bounty hunters would take the fall while the hutts had immunity in their comforts in Hutt Space. The Hutts also had influence in the black markets outside of their jurisdiction and connections to corrupt political officials who were easily bribed.
The Senate: I'm sorry, but we have to launch an investigation into your recent dealings with the Republic. We can't just ignore all the people your mercenaries killed. Not to mention the damage done to an entire ecosystem, the impact this will have on our economy, and finally there's a little thing called reparatio-.
The Hutt Cartels: This should compensate you.
The Senate: Findings are inconclusive. Case closed.
I never realized how much some of the Hutts look like Heat Miser from The Year Without Santa Claus in the artwork
"Not only did I make him an offer he couldn't refuse, but I also made sure the price of the brick went up."
- Marlo The Hutt
Oruba the Hutt was almost my favorite Hutt Council member during the Clone Wars. Heâs just so interesting to me/ looks the best imo
He's my favorite too
My head Canon is he has a place like Versailles
Marlo took a page from the 40k Orks I see.
Let's get a wookiee crime lord next.
The whole five families aspect, makes me think of the American Mafia, and the Five Families.
They probably served as the basis for the whole Hutt council structure
The scary part, was the Hutt âEmpireâ controlled a lot of the galaxyâs economy. The Empire tried/wanted to get rid of them, but realized the massive economic backlash that would occur as a result. Not to mention the assassins and agents theyâd have to worry about, exacting revenge for their masters.
The Empire *did* attack Nar Shaddaa in one of the older Han Solo books, but were repulsed by a fleet of smugglers and pirates (Han Solo being one of the participants). They did not try that again.
I wish we got to see more of the hutt crime world in The Clone Wars. We know very little about some of them, and many of their fates are unknown (especially Rotta)
Agree so much
This was a really interesting look into the various Hutt clans. Especially Marlo the Hutt.
9:12 replayed it like 6-7 times, too funny my man haha đ€Ł
Upon mentioning about the Hutts with military-like qualities, how powerful are the Hutt war fleets? What prevented the Republic Navy and the Separatists Navy from seizing control of the certain hyperlanes they needed by force?
Basically the Star Wars version of the commission
More like the star wars version of mexican cartels
@@brayanfisk8769 someone else that knew what I was talking about. Your organized crime knowledge is impressive
Imagine taking a shot every time he says "Hutt"!
I'm wondering why Princess Lies had no consequences for killing jabba ? Hutton law requires all the hutt vlsns to bend together to avenge the death of a council member. , and maul would be another person that should be marked for death ( it doesn't need to be immediately done ). jabba turns on maul a few weeks later.
Princess *Lies?*
The answer is probably Hutt infighting.
@@demi-femme4821 yeah, shortly before, the Hutt Council was destroyed by Darth Vader in canon. Whoever was left to immediately take over likely went into infighting with other members. So it may have taken till Book of Boba Fett for the clans to have become stable. By then, Leia was already forming the New Republic and targetting someone of such prestige would get them into trouble
â@leandraferesthogar7249 Plus they would have to deal with a Luke Skywalker, who to the wider galaxy, basically killed Darth Vader and Palpatine in one go
In Legends his father hired a bounty hunter to kill her
Love your stuff, just wish you did longer videos
The SW universe likes "Grand Councils" of "X" an gatherings of "elders" like Sideous likes intergalactic/planet level WMDs
Arok the Hutt was patterned after Edward G Robinson who played gangsters in old movies. Most famously he portrayed Johnny Rocco in Key Largo. He was also an avid pipe and cigar smoker.
3:37 I shouldâve known heâs an albino Hutt.
EU Hutts were the GOATs among Slug, Durga, Zorba, even the nice Aarba.
We rather not talk about Zorba much.
The Senate could trample ALL these Hutt leaders with ease.
Video Idea: Jabba's Death
Alongside its respective sequence of events and also its legacy in both Legends and the Alt-universe, I would also add.
@@michaelandreipalon359 alt-universe? You mean Canon?
@@OtisCluck My in-universe term for that continuity, yes.
Nice some hutt clan lore.
Your intro beeps sound like lil Wayne lollipop is about to start playin
I absolutely love your content that delves into the underworld and bounty hunter side of the galaxy because the Jedi v Sith gets boring after a while.
But the life of the average sentient and the harsh realities away from the ivory towers of The Jedi Temple never gets old to me.
It is far more relatable talking about regular people and their struggles to get by than it is talking about the demi-godlike space wizards who were specially picked out by the space magic field that apparently wills me to live on Coruscant Lvl 1600.
Just about to unlock Jabba on GOH. Today is the day, Final mission time. I am so hyped for all Hutt content right now!
We talking post mortem too?đ
isent it mentioned that the hut would not stopp hunting down someone that killed a hige ranking hutt? if so can you make a video about why they stopped hunting down Lea, Han, Luke and Chewbacka? Sure Lea was the one to kill Jabba but the other three did have a roll in it to. and there is a couple of storrys where bountyhunters is hunting them down shortly afther the fall of the emperor and it sounded like it was on behalf of the Hutts.
Iâm pretty sure Arok eventually died of Cancer due to smoking
Please talk about the other clans
Am I the only one who wonders what happened to Rotta after the clone wars?
What about Gardulla the Hutt?
No one out-pizzas the hutt
If I get another pac man frog( ornate, horned, frog) Iâm going to name him job of the hutt. They literally get to be the size of a dinner plate and eat other frogs crickets baby mice. So you have to house them alone.
Mee'm noleeya this video um mee hagwa like it
I always thought Gardula presented as a she
What happened to ratta after the clone war? We donât see him later
Toup?
đ
Please use my art again I miss the dopamine rush đ
*sees thumbnail and title* EXTERMINATE!!! *E-X-T-E-R-M-I-N-A-T-E-!-!-!-!-!-!-!*
Edit: Darn, no Urdruua the Hutt, and way too much TCW 2008 Hutts.
Well yeah, thatâs what the video was about, the members of the Hutt Council at that time
1st 1k let's goo
I've been told that The Clone Wars was crap? I'll never know because I will Never give any more money to Disney! I enjoy the books WAY better! Especially the second trilogy books. Soooo much better than those G***mer Disney movies!
I love the Hutts. Jabba is easily in my top 5 star wars characters
