Portrait of a Lady of Fire is a great movie for ASMR clips. The whole movie had such a soft, quiet atmosphere.

i feel like it needs to be addressed that in the doctor scene she is being rude, yes, but that’s the point. the patient is actually also a doctor who treats both his patients and his staff very rudely and so she is giving him a taste of his own medicine, not to mention after it cuts off he questions her medical diagnosis bc he didn’t diagnosis himself

Best unintentional ASMR I’ve ever experienced was during an episode of the Tudors. The actor playing Thomas Boleyn is looking over some papers and writing and says, “So that’s how he does it.” Tingles every time!!

The excerpt from Phantom Thread (the dress scene) is the most amazing ASMR. The visuals, the sounds, the tiny details... the scene after that in the film where he takes her measurements is fantastically tingly as well.

I think the best ASMR is from the Secret Garden (1993). I love the parts where the main character Mary is walking in the secret garden or wandering through the old passageways and untouched rooms of the house, or looking through old photos of her aunt with her cousin Colin. And the music is so relaxing.

The first time i experienced ASMR was when my teacher showed us The Secret Garden in 2nd grade. That was 20 years ago and well before i knew what ASMR even was!!! I was like woah that sounds and looks amazing.

I just rewatched that movie for the first time since I was a teenager. I love that scene! That film makes you wistful then peaceful at the end

You could probably search for dermatologist, face examination roleplay asmr videos. And some cranial nerve examination videos may have the same movements but without the swab element

Apparently he took sewing lessons for a year or so for this movie. He learnt to cut patterns and take measurements.
He does a lot of research for this roles he plays
He has 3 Oscars for Best Actor and he's notorious for doing crazy stuff for roles before
He's well-known for going all out when it comes to method acting. Learning to box, going to prison, leaving his wife, hunting prey for every meal etc - all for the sake of believable performances in the respective movies
The scene from Unbelievable is indeed strong ASMR, though it’s hard to find it too calming when you know the context of what’s just happened

There’s a scene in the movie Stepmom starring Julia Roberts and Susan Sarandon where Julia’s character is showing the stepdaughter how to paint leaves on a tree. The tingles I get from that are awesome! That was one of my most earliest experiences with ASMR!!

Omg the last's one atmosphere is so comfortable I can't-
nearly half of The Secret Garden (1993) gave me ASMR. Probably the first time I ever experienced asmr tbh, and many scenes in Girl with the Pearl Earring.
The Hours is basically entirely an ASMR experience, but specially the final dialogue between Meryl Streep and Juliane Moore, so good! very up close clear and crisp sound, you can tell the focus was the dialogue, the words, there’s barely any lighting at all too. also, most Tarantino movies have good ASMR, I imagine it’s the mic/sound setup, but specially on Kill Bill, the dialogue between Uma Thurman and Daryl Hannah while she reads and smokes, you can hear the cigarette burning, the mic just captures it so well! and I feel like ASMR in movies are one of our first ASMR experiences so it comes with a good feeling of nostalgia too! 🥰
