Velveteen Dream once was someone who was being pegged as the future of WWE but unfortunate circumstances made things impossible and he eventually was released and spiraled into even more controversy since then.
Velveteen had some great feuds too remember with the original Ricochet flip with Ricochet jumping over the top rope and even landing on his feet to the shock of Dream.
Also some other great feuds with Aleister Black and EC3 and even building his stock even more to nuclear levels being able to even later challenge for the NXT Title against the top heel of NXT at the time Tommaso Ciampa.
Velveteen even wins the NXT North American Title from Johnny Wrestling after winning the Breakout Tournament,goes on to have a good reign defending against guys like Matt Riddle,Tyler Breeze,Roderick Strong,and Pete Dunne.
