I like the house!!! Love the garage and doing epoxy floors in there in the future would be nice.That green in the study is a nice color and can actually act as a neutral because it looks desaturated and will pair well with brass or black and cognac leathers and other materials (velvets, linen, etc) it’s just staged poorly. Plus green is a good choice to bring in a sense of nature. The kitchen is nice, but a little too black & white. I would’ve done the range hood in a nice walnut or pull the medium brown wood tone from the flooring to add some warmth and contrast and yes I would have done the pot filler in a brass and mixed metals. In the living room, I’m curious to know why the accent chairs are over by the chaise end of the sectional. It looks cramped and they should’ve been placed on the opposite side of the living area.The Ross/Home Goods/ Marshall’s coffee table needs to go, it’s not doing anything for the space. A round coffee table would be a better option and would’ve referenced back to the round dining table in the breakfast nook. The carpet upstairs is too dark I agree and could’ve been lighter color or just keep the engineered wood floors throughout and do appropriate size area rugs in the bedroom for noise reduction and a touch of softness. I love the idea of a fireplace in the primary bedroom, however a mantle would’ve really elevated the room (especially if they would’ve done the black stone to reference back to the living room). I grade this house a 5/10. Nice, but lots of room for improvement.

The reason you have brick is so you don’t have to do anything to it. Painting it means upkeep! Crazy. Ruins the brick.
