    The Bactrian Camel (Oreocamelus bactrianus) is a large even-toed hoofed mammal native to Central Asia, it is the largest of the six extant camel species and is the only extant camel species to be found in the Holarctic Kingdom, it is also the only extant species of the genus Oreocamelus, which also includes the extinct Knobloch's Camel (Oreocamelus knoblochi) and Siwalik Camel (Oreocamelus sivalensis), all members of the Oreocamelus genus possess two humps on their back instead of one hump, the bactrian camel has a large woolly coat of fur that helps it keep warm in the freezing climate, there are two bactrian camel subspecies: the Gobi Camel (Oreocamelus bactrianus bactrianus) and the Kunlun Shan Camel (Oreocamelus bactrianus kunlunshanensis).
