I just recently went to an Ikea for the first time. Through all the SCP videos i was always confused as to how someone would get lost in a warehouse as depicted similar to a Sam's Club.
Ikea isnt actually JUST a big warehouse, a big portion of the store is just housing displays that feel like youre walking into multiple houses that are all connected. It took 2 hours to actually explore the place.

and they're way bigger than they should be
and when you attack they will still attack even if its day.
Only difference is you cant just light up the area and stop them from being aggressive and they don't keep attacking you if it becomes day if they were previously hostile towards you.

They tried with the indestructible lizard, he was in there for a bit until the staff brought out a ton of bloody boxes containing the still living parts of the lizard. It eventually reassembled itself.
I guess since they can’t keep track of the scps after they enter the ikea and they can’t know if it escapes through to some other ikea exit in the ikea-verse

I was actually “lost” in ikea when I was two my mom had looked away for a second then I’m gone I knew where everything was we had been there so many times so I remembered the arrows to the Delhi and due to how vast it was they locked down the entire place and the staff reported saying a blond kid in the Delhi going by my name ( safety reasons for me ) they had brought my mom there and I ran to her and she was very thankful then said this “hotdog” let’s say she was a bit mad but not that mad only a bit.
It's funny, the first time I went to Ikea as a kid I thought the store was endless as I just couldn't navigate it. So this SCP seems oddly accurate. Ikea just isn't navigated like regular stores making it pretty easy to get turned about.

I used to live in Chillicothe Ohio, and the Walmart we had there felt like a diet SCP 3008. The Walmart felt a bit bigger on the inside, and if you come during the later hours and piss off the staff, the will rip your head off.

I’ve only been to a IKEA once but it was definitely a very memorable trip mostly because of the infamous “Sprite waterfall” incident. After shopping for a while we (me, my mom, dad and 5 siblings) decided to go eat. The restaurant was on the second floor and near the entrance. As the entrance was two floors tall the second floor ended with a glass barrier overlooking the entrance. We decided to sit here and eat. At one point my brother knocked over my sisters full cup of Sprite. Unfortunately the glass barrier had a gap at the bottom allowing the Sprite to spill onto the first floor in a impressive waterfall, somehow missing everyone below.

I remember being in an ikea at the age of 7 and I got distracted by the children’s bedroom stuff and I looked around and didn’t see my parents anywhere. Absolutely terrifying. Like a regular 7 year old, I screamed and cried for my parents.

Thats the day your parents were replaced by sleeper agents, have you noticed something different in their behavior: craving for Swedish meat balls, no longer arguing while putting up furniture together, buying cheap decorations that they no one really wanted, etc.
If you want to be sure just try an allen key in their left nostril, but be prepared first, as if they were truly replaced they'll get really mad you did that and will start asking weird questions
