I truly think Ash is one of the most underrated legends in the game right now. Her ult is an instant escape for the whole team or to push a team. Her snare is mostly made to deny access to areas orsecure kills at close mid range. Her passive is honestly amazing for decision making regarding rotations and third partying. You can assume that a team is still lingering when a deathbox has 60s or less. Still hoping she gets buffs with her heirloom

Completely disagree. Catalyst, Seer/Bloodhound and the third is interchangeable is the current meta in scrims and ranked. No way you'll catch Ash with how bad she is overall over characters like New Castle, Bangalore, Wraith etc.
Ash main here! Caustic is my fav team mate because we can take high ground. Lock it down. They can’t follow and it’s really good to 3rd party giving a caustic ult that much mobility is crazy.
Yeah agreed! Also if you can manage to snare an enemy in the Caustic gas it's very easy to capitalize on. My buddy mains Horizon and I've been able to use my snare with her ultimate, combined with a spam of grenades which was great. Also communicate to a fuse when you snare an enemy for easy damage.
I wonder how this guy is gonna react when she gets her heirloom (and hopefully, buffs)

she needs a buff that makes her snare SLIGHTLY faster and it needs to be able to hit multiple enemies (meaning if a whole team walks into the snare, they all get caught)

The funnest part I believe of ash is that arc snare i snared a Valk the other day and she tried flying away it was like watching a fly on a string 😂

Another tip is if you’re using your portal to get away snare the portal.
Also if you expect an opponent to follow you immediately you can walk backwards after you portal. This will put you directly behind the person who takes your portal so you can ambush them.
Its amazing how alot of ash mains don't use her passive, its one of the best in the game imo
It’s just so boring, I use it often when I can’t find people but it’s just not fun
I would like 3 changes to her tactical. 1- You can sprint while you hold it. 2- If she snares someone you get a 3 second speed boost. 3- Second charge
The speed boost is an interesting concept i wonder if someone could mod that in r5 reloaded

Past few days Ive done RAshHound
Revenant, Ash, Bloodhound. Totem, port, and then scan. Just thought of ash valk find boxes fly to em.
I think a good buff for Ash’s passive (to compete with the new recon beacons) is that if you scan a death box, you can continue to ping that squad with your data knife until they die, you’re in a certain proximity OR you scan a different box. It would make it easier to actually track people down even if they’re across the map, and to balance it they still get notified every time you ping them, so they can tell you’re closing in on them.
Edit: I don’t think it would be OP because you’re only tracking one team and could easily run into other enemies along the way
I wonder what he would think of a buff to ash that made her silence all movement abilities on snared enemies.
Ash+rampart is actually a prettty solid combo if you take the right loadout for it. Can just peek rampart walls with amped damage and instantly capitalize on it with ash ult.

Ash+controller legends is definitely one of the best ways to use her in ranked. Portal to a building and easily push a team out and hold it. Not the best for kills but its a decent combo for farming wins.
Id also say Ash+Newcastle is a good combo for ranked.
I feel like the velocity of ash’s tactical should be faster. Or at least like the same speed as revenant’s. It’s so easy to dodge since it’s slow

I think ash ult should be bumped up to 2 one-way portals. that way you can either rotate quicker or portal in and portal back out of fights

Ash is by far my favorite assault legend, and that's the last class I need a legend with an heirloom.
Me and homie do the Ash rev combo because he mains rev. You do either or rev ult push then ash ult to get right back to the fight or you can rev ult the ash ult to close the distance alot faster.
I don’t think neither Ult is better they both have there pros and cons …. And if you make ash portal being able to go back through that would literally just make her wraith … doesn’t make sense ….

ASH Heirloom is coming at the end of the season.
I think all she needs is an increase on the snare time so you can use it as a budget horizon ult by throwing it and then immediately throwing nades. Would make her aggro and damage output way better

I feel as if Valk should have been in the Assault class, and ash in the skirmisher.
Ash's ult should be a 2 port type system, ult once, then again IF you choose but the 2nd CD for the ULT is less distance.

Yea I have 63k on mirage and I have 26k at kills and 21k smg kills I don’t use shotguns or snipers I think it’s a console thing cuz I use shotguns on my pc

People really hating on my girl Ash. I get that she doesn't have an always active movement ability, but I've always liked her a lot. The tactical could use some love and the ult would benefit from a UI update like what Path just got, but I have fun playing her.

Her snare need to be faster and her ult should have more distance
I fw iGrind a lot but I also gotta state this. Ash pairs great with not only rev(if communicated correctly), but also caustic(his ult/arc snare), valk(missiles/snare), Gibby or Bangs ult with the snare, etc. The snare may only trap one enemy but if used correctly it can be pretty good. Especially with nades. Now the fight goes from a 3v3 to a 3v2. Not to mention that her ult has a two minute cooldown and can grab height instantly to gain an advantage.
Also instead of two snare charges(because the community will complain about being stuck in the same spot for 6 seconds instead of 3) make it to where her snare can trap an entire team of 3 within the radius for 3 seconds. Plus also buffing the speed of the travel. It would make it more useful to the team overall. Her ult should also go 75 meters instead of 62.5. Not to mention that her passive should have the option to leave deathboxes on the map indefinitely until it gets swallowed up by the ring.Since recon legends can see enemies LIVE on the map that would be only fair.🏌🏾
the question about ash’s passive was correct you misunderstood what they said. Recons can now scan beacons a basically get a better ash passive they never said ash can scan beacons.

tbh his movement and gun skill are on point but he is defo not playing ash to her full potential. I think he gets away with not using her tactical so much due to his gun skill. throughout the clips there was many times where using the tactical would of been beneficial.
Her portal should be able to go anywhere instead of having to have a platform to aim at

@Bbossmano It's kind of only known in the comp community, so, a bit underground. It was talked about heavily in the apex discord and if you mention it in general and an admin sees it? You get banned. Test it yourself, create a fake discord, go in there, ask about it and get an admins attention.

She’s a dope character I would main her but she is just unfortunately to boring her tac is boring her passive is just on the mini map and the death box thing just alerts squads were your at and know your coming and her ult curser js so sensitive and easily misplaced and buggy
Death box scan is useful in situations when they just finished a fight recently and are ratting nearby. Especially if you know it's just a solo. You can do it the mid-fight even since there's usually more than 1 box to scan.
