A Variety of Diesels whilst capturing 1Q13 at Pembrey & Burry Port 19/06/2014

Tonight I went out to capture network Rail;s 1Q13 on a Newport to Carmarthen turn. As we approach the longest day of the year, I was able to take full advantage of various workings before it became dark.
The star of the show being the first Class 37 to be turned out in the very smart latest DRS livery.
Please note 37605 should read 37604.

The new DRS livery certainly is very smart, Bob- nicely captured. The HST also looked as if it had been freshly painted and was in very nice condition.....regards, Mervyn

It suits the 37's very well Mervyn, and is certainly an improvement on the older one. The HST's are always kept in a clean condition, and it's very rare to see a dirty unit....Best wishes...Bob

You where out late last night ....iit was just getting dark here at 10pm , nice footage Bob , and as you say the Network Rail 37`s where the stars ..those 175`s look well think its time we had some newer stock up here on Northern Rail ......Camera is doing a fine job ..first class ...Dave

My house is on the right as the train approaches me in the last clip Andrei, unfortunately this time of the year, the nettles and brambles obscure the railway from view from the bottom of my garden, without the need to hold the camera high above my head....Bob

Great collection and variety there Bob! The 60 sounded great and, what can I say about the 37s that hasn't already been said? Lovely growl off them and 37423 looks great in the "68" livery. Loved the last sunset shot Bob, what a lovely sky! Thanks. Ken
