    She is not cold, she cried. In Our religion, we do Soon Kat( invite monks to our home and offer food and water to monks as a good deed for the deceased family member and ourselves after Yet lal- 7days after the day he/she died,) During Soon Kat , monks teaches us about Buddha teachings( like what you should know/think etc.) Aung Sang Su Kyi had some tears in hers eye that time.She was under house arrest at the time. Very few people were invited to her house. but some people said they saw some tears in her eyes. She had experienced so many hardships in her life so a situation like this is not really big compared to us/me. Her eldest son doesnt even allow her to meet him. We feel really sorry for her family. Her father general Aung San, who brought Independence for us was assassinated by the political rivals. She was so young . People doesnt really know much about her. They just wanna critized her. I dont blame them. But I think/suggest that we should try to learn about the case more before we jude something or somebody.

    • @simply_neuroscience
      @simply_neuroscience Před rokem +1

      @@aap9490 She had absolutely no authority over the barbaric Military. The military deliberately carried out the massacre, not her. It's crazy how y'all know nothing about Myanmar and how her people suffered all these years under military dictatorship and yet care to judge what she did without taking into consideration why she said what she said. Truth is Myanmar was partial democracy with 25% of legislative seats just reserved for the military in the parliament. Tho she was a president, had she pissed the military back then, she'd have either been assassinated or put to house arrest like she always has been leading the military coup take over its people again. She had no other option at that time but to defended the military because the democracy of her countrymen was at stake. Yes it was morally wrong but this is politics. And she did everything she could in hopes of seeing her people getting democracy. It's true it didn't turn out well and the military yet again betrayed her.
      Point is it's easy to comment as if every stance in politics are as easy as keyboard warriors like you seem to be, in reality it's not. Ask any person from Burma and you'll get your answer. Because we haven't been under military rule, we don't know how dangerous it can be.
      Think of Netaji for example. I'm guessing you're Indian. If yes, how do you feel when people who don't have an ounce of understanding what Indians were going through under British rule criticise Bose for siding with Japan and Hitler like that? We all know why he did that unlike outsiders, we know he's left with no other option to get his country freedom but that. The same goes for the president of Myanmar. She sacrificed her own family for her country. And yet has been portrayed as some kind of evil by the western propagandists.
