- Short house tour of our £15k abandoned for 20 years house in Italian hills. Just hour and few minutes drive from Naples.After this video i realised how little you need to feel happy. it does not matter if you have broken tiles on the floor or hole in the wall.

We are totally new to filming our self and editing videos so please forgive us any mistakes.
House is totally off the grid ,we generating power ourself , water is straight from the roof. Drinking water we buy in local shop.

Dig a French drain around the outside of the house (plenty of tutorials on CZcams) It probably won't stop the damp completely, but it's a good start.
I was also thinking about that. At first we was thinking that is from heavily leaking (rusted) guttering . But I changed gutters all around the house and not much changed. Thanks for your idea.
Maybe built without damp proof course.@our_italian_escape
@rodjsy6363 that is also possible. When I changed pipes under the bathroom floor, there was no damp proof at all.

Thank you. No one has been living here for years. All windows and doors closed. Maybe with time and french drainage on the back of the hose will be better.

We are about half hour drive from Avellino. 👋
