  • What makes Confucius one of the most influential philosophers in history? is it his deep wisdom or simple but profound life lessons? In this video, you will find some of Confucius's greatest quotes and teachings that have been used for thousands of years and are still relevant today.
In the annals of human history, Confucius is one of the most influential teachers. He was an ancient Chinese philosopher who lived from 551 to 479 BC. He is considered to be the founder of Confucianism and is known for his teachings and philosophy focused on living life in accordance with nature's laws rather than human desires, the importance of filial piety, and respect for elders.
He lived in a time when China was divided into many small states and kingdoms ruled by warring princes. Confucius realized that if these princes would unite they could become a powerful and happy nation so based his teachings upon the existing culture and traditions to help people see themselves as part of something bigger than just themselves.
Confucius is known for his teachings on how to live a good life, which was later written down by his students and became the base of Confucianism and many other ancient philosophical belief systems.
In this video, I’ve compiled some of the best, life changing, and most inspirational Confucius quotes on life, wisdom, people, friends, self-love, inner peace, and society that can help you change your life and live better.
I put a lot of work, effort, and energy into making this video and I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it. Thank you for watching!

I liked "When you see a good person, think of becoming like him. When you see a person not so good, reflect on your own weak points." It just kind of resonated with me...

Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorant.
Without realising one's own level of ignorant, one will never be able to learn anything regardless of how truly it is.
This one quote encompasses all the rest.

@@Wisdomium That's very kind of you. Similarly Lao Tzu had said this too.
'To know that you do not know is the best.
To think you know when you do not is a disease.
Recognizing this disease as a disease is to be free of it.'
      Lao Tzu
'In the cosmic consciousness earth is not even a speck of dust but i am arrogantly a big man and master of the earth'. This is how ignorant we have become.

Can someone please explain this one to me? He said,” we have two lives, and the second begins when we realize we only have one”

Thanks for watching! I also would like to hear others opinion on this.
I think the meaning of this quote is that once you’re aware that your time is limited and you will only get so many chances to do the things you’ve always wanted to do or become the kind of person that you’ve always wanted to become. Everything will change for you because you'll start to take more risks and do things you always wanted to do.

maybe , as we age we realise we don't go on forever . Since I lost both parents, I realise I am not immortal.
my take on the quote. Tell me if you think I saying crap

Maybe it's about awakening, aligning with the human Dharma. From this awareness, real life begins. I don't think it's something that fosters such an urgency to "live it all quickly"... this only fosters anxiety.😵‍💫

"When we realize we only have one” must mean "Live your life to the fullest" because you only have one!

Although you only have the one life, it can change so much as to be regarded as another life. You're still in the same body, but the person that you are is different than the person you used to be.
