I have watched a lot of Bonanza in the last couple of weeks and I think this is my all time favorite. Full of fun and surprizes.

When the tall healthy blonde mother asked Joe and the big ugly bandit if they were married, and for the late 60s, I about rolled my stomach, because I was laughing historically. 😂🤣

I've noticed that Bonanza got more silly as the seasons came and gone. Bonanza was more Dramatic in the early seasons the episode's were more serious and as the season progressed Bonanza definitely had alot more comedy in it. I LIKE IT.🤗
No Adam in the later Episodes and Seasons,, Pernell wanted them to all be grown up serious men, one of many reasons he disagreed with staying on Bonanza
@@AshMae264 I think Pernell Roberts took himself too seriously. He thought the show was beneath him, but it survived just fine without the character of Adam. It was the loss of Hoss that killed the show.

@@AshMae264 Pernell wanted some character development and that 3 grown sons shouldn't be treated like teens. He also felt they should be able to marry, rather than them remaining forever bachelors. Producer David Dortort admits that he did not do right by Pernell.
