I graduated from UF some years ago and it’s incredible to see how much it’s changed since I was there - especially the Rietz Union. The bookstore used to be in another building. UF was and is such a great school! I enjoyed it so much. Thanks for giving me this tour. It was great to see all the locations again. Such great memories! I’m a freshman in high school right now and I’m trying to learn a lot of things about different colleges that have what I want and this is the number one school in Florida for it and that’s a great thing because I love the Florida gators. Also this video showed me a lot about the University. Thank you
It’s very smart on your part to be looking at colleges in 9th grade. I wish I had spent my high school years prioritizing college instead of living in the present moment. My daughter is in 9th grade too, but like I was, she isn’t thinking of the future as much as she should. She’s very smart and makes all A’s but it’s only because my wife and I constantly stay on her case. I’m doing the job of looking and comparing colleges because I learned from my mistakes and I worry about her because even though she’s smart, she isn’t self-motivated like you seem to be. Kudos to you for planning way ahead and good luck.

Hey Kevin, great job on the video. My son accepted his admission for fall, 2023. (Olympia High School in Orlando). He is a studious person, classic pianist, but also involved in sports, etc., He is wanting to stay in a dorm that is not late night parties, etc., any recommendations? Close to gym/food services?

Wow so many things to compliment I dont know where to begin. I have to say I was surprised you put the face mask on the right way lol. I've been to the stadium multiple times but never visited any of the other places. And your right you dont just see the Gator spirit you feel it intensely. Chomp Chomp. That joke you told about the engineers was very funny lol. And omg false hope big time. I thought for sure that you found a bathroom lmao. I've just been accepted to UF. Yeah! I'm thinking about applying for a dormitory, but I'm wondering if the lease is for a year or a semester. Also, what happens if I want to attend summer school? Can I stay at the dorm or do I need to move out, rent a place, and then move back in the fall? Thank you.
I'm a UF online student so I never actually been to campus. I live outside of Orlando. I'd love to visit one day, hopefully before graduation!

I'm not sure where or how far Gainesville is from Jacksonville. I would just visit the city once I move to Florida. I remember watching a lot of Florida Gator games growing up.
Do you still study there? I assume so. This video was very helpful. I sent an application last night after reviewing an email from ERAU and Daytona Beach University. I'm doing undergrad associates. I'm only 16 and would really love to have you there to show me around, I do know they have a great staff but this was very informative. I'm going to major in criminology, a lot of different topics but my main goal is CSI. And a lot of extracurricular activities or just activities and trying to start my own businesses.
