What he is saying is absolutely right. I have some of my friends who did masters in US universities working in grocery stores, food deliveries and hotels till they get a job. In India there is elitist mindset and respect for labor is simply not there. Also, expecting all the graduates who come out of college to be employed is bull shit. 15 lakh engineers pass out of Indian colleges every year. Do you expect all of them to be employed?
True
Well said. I think it is probably because the mindset is that till the time you don't get a job, you can live off your parents' money, and most parents are happy to do that because that's how it has always been. If students are asked to be self-sufficient after 18/19 and sponsor their own education (whether through jobs or loans), this will change very quickly, but I don't see that happening anytime soon, because "log kya kahenge" is too important.
@@saubhagya6096 but it's a reciprocal relationship between parents and their children. If children are told to live by themselves after turning 18 then the parents also shouldn't expect much from their children once the parents reach their old age.

No it's not. Let me share and example the average wage in Canada is $14/hour. You work 40 hours a week for a month you earn about $2300 per month. When you compare that to our payscale it's no where. You don't keep getting 20K your entire career but for an electrician you might make the same salary for your entire career, and even if you make more it will not be much different.
You just need to work hard in the private rest with experience you get to earn a decent sum of money.

I would give a hypothetical situation. Suppose in a country all graduates turned out to be engineers. Whatever are the resources of the country, would it be possible to provide them with matching jobs?? No. On the contrary other sectors would die and eventually economy would collapse. A good economic society needs social differentiation, so that every pillar of economy is taken care and so hierarchy is in built. Can u think of a corporate with all employees being CEO? Today everyone wants to be the CEO. Jobs are plenty but degrees or interest have converged. He is right in saying everyone wants white collar jobs. Even nature has hierarchy, if all become lion it won't last. Problem is with disparity of income, and social status. Y a plumber is seen down with respect to an engineer? Though income disparity is reducing, it would take time for social disparity to vanish.

Pressures and Competitions are creating deliberately in formal sectors forcefully..This is totally unacceptable as compared to other developing countries..
Due to this reason there are lack of workers of working-age population potentially within an informal economy which results in inflationary situations..
Obviously, population explosion is also a matter of concerns and our Government should take reasonable steps to control it as soon as possible by two child policies or NRC(to constrain illegal migrants) alongside it is very needful to have a proper basic education system people need to understand the fundamental economics and politics from the school level education..and In colleges and universities graduation should be more skill oriented courses like Developed nations(US, UK, Japan, Korea etc.)..Now in education system just a graduate by booklist knowledge without any specific skills no more helpful for getting jobs or creating jobs...Need awareness..

Entrepreneural mindset should also be developed with these skills with a strong mindset of ethics. In developed countries a plumber and a white collar job employee both earn almost the same.
Graduation means not that the person is perfect for job.he take certificate because college approve his ability in papers but he has no practicle ability just paper and now graduation is just go for 3-5 years at college and take that certificate not learn any thing
Rakesh Sir could have had a civilized conversation rather than shouting unnecessarily
He is right
The main problem in India is degrees are earned for jobs not for knowledge. It's not entirely student's fault entire system is flawed. Parents say study and earn a job, teachers say study harder to get a job. Nobody, literally nobody says to study and understand it. Not even 5% of of final year projects of engineering students see the lime light. Neither the college nor the government supports new innovative projects which could in real sense create massive jobs.
After studying hard if I am able to get only sales job either it's a failing of my school or my dream. If I had to become a driver I would have better saved all spending at my education and most probably putting that money simply into bank I would have enjoyed my life.
Guys stop taking sides and just look at the valid points both sides are making. Both are successful people beyond our imaginations and they have reached there because of their own personal convictions.
People who gave birth to 5/6/7 kids 20 years before and now want jobs??? How many of them are skilled? Human being talk about Fundamental right to give birth then whose fundamental duty is to provide skills and resources to the the child? Are parents duty confined only to provide food, shelter ( upto a particular age) and rest for the others???
5/6/7 kids wtf???
India's fertility rate is slightly more than 2.
Very few exceptions are there of couples with 5/6/7 kids.

Then why did IBPS reduced it's vacancy for Clerk this year which is about 1,500 only.
And if I see the number of vacancy in different sectors is constantly going down.
Why?

Same bro I too lost all respect for him
there are too many jobs in the market but people want govt jobs only
Probably because the way he talked?
Well he isn't wrong though,i still have the same respect for him because of his straight from the shoulder attitude. In western countries people do any kind of job they can without shying away if they don't get a white collar job.Working at McDonald's or working as a plumber isn't considered a too degrading job over there but it's not the same in India. We look for status and crap

Yes
Congress focused on giving College Degrees (and earning money from it) instead of skilling Indians.
Degrees do not earn money, your skill does.

That's why his papa keep privatising govt sponsored companies & give laddu to corporate only , even after giving tax cut no improvement of economic growth except balance sheet repair of the individuals only
Economy is no doubt screwed but what's the problem with privatising? Govt employees will now have to work, is that the issue (no offence to people who are genuinely working hard, I know there are many, but overshadowed by those who dont)? Funny world, people want jobs but don't want to work.
It's not government business to do business, and do u know lot these businesses go into losses, and government has to put tax money, for that sake, that's why the Gov is privatising them

@@rohanch07 you can't deny the fact that Rakesh Jhunjhunwala is a pro BJP
@@aritra25 Its alright to be pro BJP in the same way its alright to be pro Congress or JDS or whatever.
The question we must answer is that why people who are bullish on Indian economy are pro BJP. I don't think Mr Jhunjhunwala wants Hindu Rashtra. Labeling anyone you don't agree as Bhakt is sign of a communist or a Muslim. These kind of people want to label world into 2 classes - Kaffir/Momim etc.

Even our education system is not that good, so that could create more talents. Many people pass the exam by byheard answers before the exam.
Not having practical knowledge, and education system is not providing practical knowledge.
That's why unemployment rate is too High
Why is he asking employment questions to Mr Rakesh.. ask it to government
When any college student says he she is unemployed in media then definitely a question should be aske to that person. Where did you apply for the job? And why you were not selected? Then you will get to know the truch that the person was not selected due to no communication or working skill. There is no place in India where work force is selected without judging their skill. No where work force is given job on counting heads but they are only selected or rejected on the basis of skill. Another issue is waiting for a particular job. Many youths don't want to start job because they want to work in specific sector like government sector or jobs which are in AC rooms. No one want to become Amazon or Zomato delievery person because it's painfull. They want Government or IT jobs. That's not an unemployment that unemployment by choice.
Why is jhunjhunwala becoming so arrogant ????
I think he is proving that he is a real "BHAKT"

Ask this son to become driver
We have lots of graduates with less amount of company
Here's the thing... People in India have always been fascinated by white collar jobs/government jobs. However they are not ready to put in the effort required to reach there or an equivalent position which allows them to flaunt day in and out. For people who put in their effort and yet not able to get through is simply because of population concerns. Had it been a small pool from where the merit list could be decided, people putting in ample amount of effort would have made it through. We as Indians are not obsessed by the value we bring to the society through our education and experience but obsessed with the quality of life we get to lead after cracking the competition. A simple example would be millions of aspirants applying for CSE or CAT just to get that bureaucratic position or high profile job that pays you 30-40 lacs per annum and not because they want to do something out of the box. Just because of this obsession, people don't want to take a step back or think about blue collar jobs to fund their necessities and keep their families alive and kicking for some time till they get to a position where they can command that respect through white collar jobs
The only thing that stops me from respecting him is he is a modi bhakt. To be honest there are a lot of investors to be followed and idolised. He is simply overrated.
If you are so successful in life , people will have to listen and believe you even if you are talking unreal things ..
This is so true we had to search for a painter for 10days
The only thing is supply has overwhelmed demands. ovisously if people want jobs of white collar then should get it.they will not drive taxi or do plumbing.also education is jot up to that level that it can generate skills to graduate The syllabus is simple and anyone can become graduate with just memorizing and writing papers WITH NO skills.who will give them job.
