I felt very consoled by his kind words and that made me realise how lonely I feel in the time of isolation and how much I needed a simple cheer, even from a stranger on the internet living accross the ocean. But still I don't want to complain, people have much bigger problems now.

It’s okay to complain. Even if you’re not one of the people at risk or you haven’t lost anyone, this is still a terrible situation and you shouldn’t feel bad about feeling that way. Loss is loss. “Counting your blessings” can be very unhealthy in times like this. If people get complacent because they’re not the ones getting sick or worse, this will happen again. Don’t downplay your feelings because you’re better off than others, there’s always something better.

Thomas Bergman Easy tip that lots of people dont know actually: lots of food “reviewers” eat an hour or so beforehand so that they are not biased or desperate during the review. They can take their time with their words and give an honest reaction to the taste and quality.

When I worked at McDonald’s in the 1980s and we were allowed free food during our breaks people would make these all the time and also add a second piece of cheese on the top.

If you ordered a Husky without pickles you would get ham added to your burger and you would still get the pickles.

I do enjoy McDonalds's food. There is a golden rule with those golden arches, the fries must be eaten ASAP while they are still hot to get the amazing quality of the fries. The quality goes down hill real fast as they get cold. Now let's get to the double big mac. They threw the superstructure of this sandwich off kilter by not adding another slice of cheese. This is my only complaint about the original is it only came with one slice of cheese for two beef patties within a layered bun. Now they added two more patties but no additional cheese? As much as I enjoy the big mac's this will be a fail in my opinion. I always enjoy your review's however you let us down by not speaking of the lack of cheese.

Why am I watching food reviews when I'm starving in quarantine
As a Canadian who was down in SW Florida a year ago I visited a McDonald's and was absolutely flabbergasted that this item didn't exist. It's the only big Mac I order up here In Canada. I highly recommend getting extra cheese.
Also, they looked at me weird when I tried to order root beer.

They release it and take it off the menu every once in awhile. They also got rid of the regular mcchicken and replaced it with a gross spicy chicken thing that tastes cheap
You make a very valid point about the original max low meat:bread ratio. MY solution would be to eliminate the middle piece of bread and go to 3 standard patties. That seems like a good ratio and maybe some of us smaller folks could enjoy the whole thing.

Where I live (Guelph Ontario, Canada) the Double Big Mac has been a menu item for well over a decade now, at least 15 years, probably 20 at least, I'm 35 now, and I remember buying them since I was a young teen, so maybe 13-14 or even 12 idk, but that is about 20 years right there, so I'm surprised it took so long to be available in more locations.

This is an import from Canada where the extra beef protein and fats are essential caloric and nutritional intake essential to survive the winter. Not even kidding, was present in a Montreal McDonalds circa 2003. I ate it. It was very good.
It's easy to miss his humor sometimes but it's there in the most dry sort way. His build up the first two minutes like who would ever think to turn a Big Mac into a double is pure tongue in cheek! He's both fun and informative to watch.

I used to make Big Mac’s with Quarter pounder patties when I worked at McDonalds in the early 2000’s. Best sandwich I ever put in my mouth.

They had a "secret menu" item a few years ago, the Monster Mac, with eight patties. My local McDonald's refused to make a Monster Mac, but told me the work-around was to add as many beef patties as I would like for $1 each.

Hey Reviewbrah, do you remember the McDonald's Big N Tasty? Unfortunately it was only out for a short while but I loved it and I hated that they ended it for whatever reason. It was a fully dressed burger with a seasoned patty and to my knowledge it was the only seasoned patty McDonald's ever produced.
