    The Hessaire 1,300 CFM Evaporative Cooler is compact in size, pleasing in aesthetics and the performance exceeds coolers of a much larger size. This performance is achieved through expanding air-intake areas to the hi-density XeL50 rigid media. The hi-density XeL50 media provides 80% more evaporation surface compared to regular density media. This means higher evaporation efficiency and cooler temperatures. Patented axial prop is energy efficient and throws cool air farther. Molded with ABS resin, creating a strong, yet lightweight design. This model has a handle to carry the unit. 1-year warranty.

    These work amazing in places like Arizona! Have mine running right now, and it's cold. Even with 110 plus degree heat.

    Evaporative coolers do not reduce humidity. In fact they will increase the humidity.

    Portable air COOLERS work best in climates with less than 50% humidity. An air cooler will make your room MORE HUMID.

    Yea I’m in Ft Worth, I bought one Sunday. Will be returning today. I put ice in it, it cool for a lil bit but that heat just takes over. I thought about an insulated blanket around the bottom, but felt like I really shouldn’t have to modify it, so I’ll just get a refund. Great vid, thanks bub.

    As far as usage costs go, I live in San Diego, California where electricity currently costs 44 cents a kilowatt hour. Running this cooler 24/7 would cost about 86 cents per day or about 3.5 cents per hour at its rated 82 watts. No big deal, I'm just trying to provide helpful information.

    I am in Houston and have the same unit. Mine does fine outside under the car port. Definitely does not do well in a room. Not sure why outside it is so much better. I do get breeze as well under the car port. Dogs lay in front of it. For me, it works. But only as an outside unit.

    Depends on humidity, I'm south of tulsa an days the humidity is 45% or lower, they work great. So there is days in the spring an summer mine works well for me. I use 2 window fans on each end of the house. Intake an exhaust. Swamp cooler on south end so it travels thru the whole house an exits. Be 95 out an I stay below 78 all day.

    Sorry but you're using it wrong the tray that you open up is to put ice in it you have to put water in it like a glass of water either with A hose or a pitcher of Water but It sucks I have one and the The ice melts to quick so eventually it'll start Blow in the same hot a** air around I'm not sure But if we were able to use dry ice I think it would be better it would last longer that's just my Opinion and I think what you need is a humidifier these are portable air conditions for small Rooms

    The smaller evaporative coolers do not do so well in extreme hot climate.
    The water in the reservoir tank will get hot in 1 hour or less.
    The bigger coolers do better as it takes longer for the hot climate to heat up the water in the cooler.

    • @flashcraft
      @flashcraft Před rokem +1

      H localvic, just a friendly FYI. Other CZcams video reviewers have shown that the water temperature has surprisingly little to do with the coldness of the air being blown out and that includes hot water compared to water with ice. I know it seems reasonable that colder water would mean colder air but evidently, that is not the case. Who knew?

    I live in Sun City Arizona. And this thing is useless for the garage,. It's only good for already cooled down areas. What's the point in buying something to cool if it only works when it's in an already cool place? Just blows hot air on ya'. My $25.00 fan did the same thing. This is nothing more than a $200.00 fan. And no where to insert ice blocks if you wanted. Completely useless. Waste of money. Don't buy.
