- I played Duos with XQN and we made some interesting plays in the entire game. One of the most unique was a combo with Corrupted Cupcakes and Storm Splitter. XQN had 2 golden Storm Splitters on his board so for every Tavern Spell I would send he would get 2 copies of it. That means he would get 5 Corrupted Cupcakes altogether. Since we had our shops buffed, these spells made a big difference and we went crazy with stats so I hope you enjoy watching the game!

I honestly don't think there is enough time on turns in Duo Battlegrounds. Especially when you get to round 10+
Later rounds feel fine to me but how am I expected to do like 20-30 actions in 80 seconds on turn 8
I feel like Duo's was designed a bit too much around the playtests of streamers in Blizzcon. They are much more experienced players and don't struggle with decision making as much, so sending stuff and switching back and forth between boards is much less of an issues. I still enjoy Duo's with my buddy, but a lot of the time we waste a bunch of time asking back and forth and pondering the right move, leaving us with too little time for the actual turn.
You need to stop communicating strategies and start communicating simple clear things. Otherwise you just get overloaded with bullshit and no time.

Duos are really cool, I only play HS with friends and duos are really fun, and it’s nice to know some strats and be able to make a correct judgement once in a while, I’d enjoy a duos guide if Jeef was to make one

The issue with Duos content is that most BGs players don't have friends that play the game, they just queue into random games, and playing with strangers is unendingly frustrating.
yeah thats why istopped watching kripp when he did only duo but jeef duo i dont mind also there is variety with solo and duo so its fine
(In my case I have no friends playing or not playing this)
I played duos alone by mistake once and actually had a really nice experience

It's just a bit of a bummer when the new video isn't solo.

Yay duos video! Can you and/or other streamers try and give the developers good feedback on duos? I feel there are a few annoying issues that could be fixed for a better game.
I feel the main issue is only 4 teams, causing ghost to be dramatically impactful. If one or both of the partners have combat scaling (rylak, dragons, scraper, etc.), then it's very annoying to have a ghost in the game where combat likely won't even trigger for one of the partners. This could happen with 8 teams as well, but ghost fights would be less common with more teams.
Other suggestions welcome!
It feels so bad to lose the lobby by 5 or 10 stats when you're playing a combat scaling comp And there's a ghost
I've sent the spreadsheet to several friends through the word of mouth, as someone who recently started battlegrounds again, it's been nice with both general guides to get back into it and also "meta reports"
I'd really like a duo BG guide, my friend who wants to do duo's is too solo focused, a big elo boi like you making a video would sway him.

I just bit the bullet on day 1 and started rolling duos and sure sometimes there are idiots, but when you and your teammate just start vibing... winning feels MUCH better than any solo match.

It doesn't even feel like he has good synergy with jeef. He doesn't communicate his plays correctly. Just 'hey do this' or holding out so jeef has to rush around his mystery strat.
Also I find his voice annoying.
@@centor111People say that about jeef too when he plays duos. They're too of the best players in the world not too much communication is needed but your comment is exactly what jeef was talking about at the beginning and why he doesn't like to do duos content
Storm Splitter is pretty insane if you get it golden early. I reno’d one, got a planar telescope, and we won the game from there. One planar telescope for each player for 1 gold each turn is really good.
I really like the duos content, although it is less informative because I don't play duos really, it is fun watching u and XQN make crazy boards :)
how are the animations and general game speed so fast? I'm running it on a good pc but my battles and animations just take forever..

I’m one of the people that really likes duos content, regardless of whether I play it a lot (I do occasionally with friends) it’s still enjoyable to watch. You guys know you don’t have to do something yourself to enjoy watching something different right? Like that shouldn’t be that hard for you

I was initially turned off by duos, but after giving it a second go I think it's pretty fun. I think people experienced the OP dragons and Quilboar weeks and gave up on the mode.

I, and other players whose comments I see on reddit etc., are only playing duos now and would like duo content. Many people, especially long time players, find solos content too lacluster now. Of course that might change with buddies, but personally I'll still enjoy duos more.

MAKE THE DUO GUIDE! jeef please i need you to help me and my partner level up our tactics in duos, the solo stuff doesnt apply as well because tavern costing is different and i need to know if 3 on 3 or 4 on 5 is a trap! its hard to stabilize and you take way more damage

IDK, im not a content creator, but I think making a living off reaching a top rank in a video game is a good job. The hearthstone community is pretty chill and fun. Maybe do some variety streams, but I wouldn't give up on Solo HS BG's. Yeah its an achievement you've already gotten, but its a fun one. How about getting 14k with a Free to play account. Sort of like doing a Dark Souls no hit run. Make the challenge harder just for fun.

@@claytongreenlee7808 F2P drafts 2 heroes from the pool. Battlepass lets you draft 4. It just gives you slightly better odds.

Been playing for few days now and i skip 60% of the cards they are playing. I think i m dumb as fuck bcs i don t see the value or the synergy lol. I struggle to get a minion to 100 while they get 1k in few turns

I ain’t got friends to play duos with and Im used to playing HS solo since I’ve been playing since frozen throne. The whole idea of passing minions to your teammate and you guys collabing to defeat opponents I just don’t find relatable or interesting in comparisons to solos is all.
