- Since Huawei decided to lock out all benchmarks, let's just test the new #Huawei #Mate40Pro with the latest #Kirin9000 chipset through games. Spoiler: its performance is more or less the same as the Snapdragon 865 in games - especially Genshin Impact.

Noticing stuttering on Genshin Impact too but it seems to be more stable than my 11 Pro Max. Just wondering what resolution is the device set to?

Well correct me if I'm wrong, in genshin it sometime stutter, but the heat doesn't make it throttle right? I saw very stable fps, I hope for longer gaming that's consistent, pleasse try bringing with fps count and longer, nice vid btw
Genshin stuttering is pretty normal since the game is badly optimized for phones. As for FPS counter... it's not going to be accurate and Huawei didn't include any tools inside the system to monitor the fps.

@@NasiLemakTech Bro for fps meter you can use the PerfDog app. Works on all devices and you get many different counters like fps meter, cpu percentage of each core, cpu frequency of each core, gpu percentage (don't have this option on all the phones), gpu clock speed, battery consumption, cpu temperature and more. To install it just go to the official website of the PerfDog app, download the file, extract the file, move the apk file (from the extracted folder) to your phone and install it. Next open the exe file (from the extracted folder) through your pc, login to the PerfDog app and next just enable the usb debugging to your phone and connect it to your pc. After this, everything else it's too easy to do. Please do it and play Gensin Impact, I want to see how good is the Mali G78 Mp24 core gpu from the Kirin 9000! That's not ways the case. Fortnite is a surprisingly heavy game for Android and I don't think the Mate 40 Pro with its Kirin 9000 can handle
@@NasiLemakTech but one plus 8 can run 90fps fortnite using snapdragon 865, and kirin 9000 is stronger than snapdragon 865 in gpu cpu and men but not in ux since Borth is similar so huawei definitely can handle the 90fps, but the question is if its optimised. For example when a phone is released, they only can run 30 fps but when they optimise, it will run at a higher fps

It's impossible for the game/app to overclock the device. It's very misleading and poor choice of words from the developers of the game.

Technically... You can overclock the phone but it's quite troublesome. And need to root your phone.

Yea... heat, stability, and also power draw are the 3 main things to consider.

@@NasiLemakTech You don't need third party apps just go to settings - Apps - AppAssistant (Turn on the AppAssistant to enable the gaming features) - Game Space and add the games you want, launch the game from Game Space and you'll see the Appassistant icon on the left or right side of the screen, touch the icon and you'll open the gaming menu, there you can enable the R and L buttons on the edge of the screen 😁

In mate 30 pro I've tested a lot of games for ps2 and gamecube and didn't even drop under 40-50 fps once.

2. If I need to sideload GFX to get some features on the Mate 40 Pro, then I would be better off buying some other phones. I'm not paying so much money for a phone with so many problems.

I never solved it. I sideloaded APKs from somewhere else.
If the games you want to play requires Google Play services... then I'm sorry, can't help you there.
