- Rock 100.5 The KATT's Cameron Buchholtz hosts the 'Pure Rock 20' countdown. He spoke with Nikki Sixx, DJ Ashba, and James Michael from Sixx A.M. about the tour, and their upcoming album.
Sixx A.M. is currently on tour with Shinedown and Five Finger Death Punch. On October 21st they played the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City.
They are so well spoken. No egos or attitudes. Nikki looks and sounds so very happy.
They deserve to headline. They're badass LIVE!!

I don't understand how they headlined a tour before Mötley Crüe was finished and now that Sixx A.M. is full time, they're an opening act.
Nikki wants the material to make them headliners, as opposed to a super group status. The band wants to earn their status
Vincent Whitley I just don't understand it cause the last tour the year before they headlined. That's all I was saying. Maybe they weren't selling out the venues so they took a step back on their approach.
That is possible. I would assume they headline smaller venues?? Nikki says he enjoys the "Package tours" with other bands but also enjoys the freedom of headlining. IDK but as the X-Files used to say "The truth is out there"

I had tickets to see these guys in Vancouver B.C..I had to sell my tickets due to lack of funds. I saw Nikki once in my hometown with Motley Crue. I'm wondering who highlights my comments & gives me a thumbs up. Who ever you are I'd like to know.😇
