My preventative measure I just don’t lock it up. I’m scared 😱 I really only use it for work and recreational rides. I do lock it at the grocery store but it’s only 10 minutes tops. I have a u-lock with a cord for the back wheel. I’d be scared to park it overnight, people would definitely steel it here.

Yes Kryptonite locks are good but can still be compromised unfortunately. I have the same thing for mine. I recommend getting an Invoxia tracker, specially for NYC. It lets you know in real time if someone is touching your bike and will send notifications to your phone. And tracks the same (if not better) as an airtag too.

My only concern with that U-Lock is the guage. I'm pretty confident, with the right size bolt cutter, someone could snap that reasonably quickly actually. But ya two locks are great! Preferably a u lock and a chain, both with pretty thick guages. It also depends on how long you're planning on leaving it and when. Besides that, you guys get the 10-speed kit automatically with the bike. Unfortunately, we don't have access to it here in the US.
Europe brakes has: Magura MT4e, 2-piston caliper, 180mm x 2.0mm rotor - Rear: Magura MT4e, 180mm rotor x 2.0mm rotor. Yours comes with a horn included, ours doesn't. Also the European one has Torque where ours is Cadence/rotation sensor. Hope that explains it.

The price of these bikes and how commonly bikes are stolen are the two main things preventing me from getting one. They are such awesome looking bikes, but to have it stolen by some drug head jackass would be infuriating.

I’m honestly gonna re-sell it. I don’t wanna lose out on 2300 bc of some druggy.
      And I legit took

Break the bike from the wood then load it in a truck to later cut the rest . Always secure your bike to something even stronger than the lock
