Was just recommended your channel and so glad I was! Love following your library transformation
This is just stunning. If I had the time, determination, creativity and talent I would try my hand at doing something similar. I'm just so overwhelmed with the idea of making "final" choices and where to start. I will have to go back and see if you discuss how you decided wat you wanted at some point because I can't recall.
The first video in the playlist is purely planning and ideas, but if you have any questions, just ask! I did a lot of Pinteresting/gathering of photos of elements I liked as a starting point. Also, the great thing about doing a room project is you never have to make 'final' choices. It can change and grow as you go! (There are no rules.)
❤love your library
That's exciting congrats on becoming a dual citizen in the Uk. Never been but I've always wanted to visit. I absolutely love your library room transformation it is amazing. Kept your precious videos to help myself figure out how to do my harry potter room and my victorian library room. Could definitely use your help in the harry potter room. We did one wall maroon color but not sure if we're liking it. The wall colors are driving me crazy 🤪. Thank you for keeping us updated love the new items you added especially the victorian theater.
Thank you! I’m not a dual citizen yet, though. Still waiting for my permanent residency results, and then citizenship will be next year’s venture.
A Victorian library sounds amazing! I love Victorian/Edwardian era aesthetics, too. With the Harry Potter room, maybe think of what room/set you like best in the films and go from there? Best of luck!
Beyond cool. Love it.
It's so beautiful, I can see my future library house through yours 😍
Beautiful! I can imagine you spend a lot of time in that wonderful space. Your future plans sound amazing - especially since I too am a Gryffindor ;). Hopefully I can film my library tour sometime soon; I will let you know when I do as I think you will see how you've inspired me. All the best.
I’m actually a Ravenclaw! But we never see their dorms in the films so… My husband is a Gryffindor, though.
I can’t wait to see your library tour!
@@SquirrellyNerdyJess Ravenclaw - book lover. Makes perfect sense ;)
@@SquirrellyNerdyJess I finally posted mine! I hope you can visit and enjoy. Thanks again for your inspiration.
I just love it!!!! ❤❤. Maybe a beautiful floor standing globe to go with your hot air balloon. It's just so nice. Blessings 💞💞💞
Love your dream library! ❤
You are absolutely amazing! You're plans and ideas are so amazing! I love your private dream library. If I had the time and the money it would be so much fun!
Early congrats on becoming a dual citizen Brank!
Assuming all goes well! Thank you.
Love your videos and love your philosophy, Be kind, be curious, and be effective. Heartfelt and fun. :)
Love your channel! As a new subscriber, I wondered when and if you planned on resuming your posts. Best wishes from MA.
Thank you. I do have plans to resume soon. 😊 (It’s been a rough year!)
Sorry to hear about your rough year, but glad you will be returning when you are ready. ☺️
Hi Jess. It's Jensha here again, same person who asked how you tell the difference between mold and foxing. I wondered if you could do a video addressing how you keep your books clean. Are there particular cleaning tools you recommend such as those tiny vacuums similar to the ones used for keyboards, particular brushes etc? I live in an old house in the subtropics of Australia, where mould comes in with the humid weather, but also things get thick with dust very easily. I see peoples bookshelves on their booktube videos and I think, my goodness, those bookshelves and books look clean. (I'm also disabled/chronically ill so book-cleaning items that aren't too heavy to lift would be ideal.)
To be honest, I only occasionally dust them. If humidity is an issue, perhaps a dehumidifier for the room, but there isn’t much else I do personally. I’ll think about it, though!
The brush I showed in that foxing video by the way is an actual book brush designed specifically for books, and I find it very easy and effective to quickly but thoroughly dust off the tops of books so it might be worth looking into getting one of those to make dusting easier?
