Only if they increase size of storage for weapons and armor.
But then there would be no incentive for you to buy their subscription service
That makes a huge difference in the game.
for me personally, only if they make the game single player only, i will not opt in for some stupid always online bullshit.
Or you could scrap some stuff
@@mtt3000 does junk and ammo having a seperate storage not affect how much gear you can store, yes or no?
I was in Fallout 76 last night and on the server I was on was the Eviction Notice event where you have to fight an onslaught of Super Mutants and there had to of been at least 13 of us spread all over the battleground with guns ablaze and I was like Yeah this is what I had always hoped FO 76 would be. It was a blast
+you got like 15 legendarys too huh
i don't want my fallout to be online, that's why i will never play this game ever.
it should have been a choice from the get go.
Eviction notice with double enemy mutations is the funnest I've had with 76.
It doesn't make up for Fallout 1st, though.
Eviction notice is the best legendary grind ever.
@@user-tp5yb4hr4w might have to be the most selfish thing ive heard from a fan so far. Being able to play with friends have been a blast and one of the only reasons why I still play for a long period of time. You have skyrim, oblivion and all the fallouts to play by yourself. I know its your opinion and I respect it, but it sucks.
The amount of controversies that surrounded Fallout 76 at launch are all well deserved and won't be forgotten. With that said, the game's future is looking bright.
This is the problem with associating “gamer” with a personality, you take things like a bad launch as a personal slight, touch grass.
No they won’t be forgotten literally because every CZcamsr keeps bringing it up I wish we could stop hearing about the games negatives and look at the games positives
@@Russelshackleford bro's defending the corporation
@Russelshackleford haha no kidding. It's been over 5 years. People need to let that go already
I agree, this is the same reason why I don't play No Man's Sky and will never do. I don't care how good the game may be know, what matters is that it should've been what it is now at launch, period.
My only issue is that the new area will be nuked like nonstop when it releases
Yh lol but you are not forced to do the events so I would not worry about it
surviving nuke zones is not difficult
What rads
This is kinda a good point actually
depends on where the nuke has to be for the event to start.
Heard that this Ghoul questline also ties into the show on how they created the suppressant for turning feral.
Is that a retcon from the original
@@jackcaffrey8493 Not that ik of tbh.
Oh awesome! I've been so confused about that, i've read every bit of lore from fallout 1 to 76 and being feral was always just one of the dangers of being a ghoul knowing they can suppress it has intrigued me and i want to know whats going on with that
The red river reminds me of the river of slime in Ghostbusters 2

I installed this game last week due to the show and Ive put a shameful amount of hours in it.
Its honestly so good now.
Yeah, it is a great game. One of my favorites of all time.
Same here my man😅
hahahaha me too, I started a year ago, and I can say I never ever passed the 200 hours mark for any game before ever, on fallout 76 I passed 1100 now :D the thing is that's exactly what I ever wanted from a fallout game because the thing I like the most is improving your character and improving gear weapons armor, in all other fallout the this stops very early most you can only go until level 100 and weapons also fast you get them all, in fallout 76 that's so different, and playing with friends just amazing and so many nice people on the game : )) I played all fallout games since fallout 1 and for me fallout 76 is the best of all.
Sucks that vets like me have known this for years but kept getting silenced and called a shill. It has negatives like any other game to exist but it has great positives too.
i gave 76 a second try a year or so ago and all i can say is i haven't been that addicted to a game since i was a kid and now fallout 76 holds a place in my top 10 favourite games of all time
This game is literally better than Starfield...it's horrible
Those Thrashers kinda look like Chocobos.... kweh?

I’ve been on a hiatus for a while, but this game still holds a special place for me despite all its flaws. I’ve met some of my best gaming friends on 76 and a I’m always looking for a reason to come back. They’ve just missed the mark for a while. Wastelanders was the last truly good update they added, and that was a while ago.
19th big content update, if people haven't come back yet they ain't coming back, luckily there's been thousands of new players enjoying the game having never had the displeasure of playing FO76 pre Wastelanders.
Tried the game again recently. Found myself falling asleep at my desk. I’ll take a look, but overall the game has far too much grind and fallout first is far too expensive to access the stash space required for end game content.
I don't think it has an insane amount of grind. It took me around 5-6 days to hit level 50 from level one playing around 2-4 hours a day after work. After that it's even easier ti get levels and loot because you have enough stuff to do "harder" content like expeditions and daily operations that give you like 6 legendary items if you complete it fast
Honestly wheb i tried fallout 76 the first time i was falling asleep on my couch dropping the remote controller of out sleepy boringness but ehen you give yourself the push and get through the first missions and thats wheb it gets interesting and even tho in the begining your not very strong i recommend you still go to the events , the events play a major part in this game and it makes it fun when you start to be around other players
I'm planning on putting my second/alterante CAMP location somewhere in the new area when it opens up. I am particularly excited to see what they include, because I have driven through the Shenandoah Valley many times over the years, whether it was driving to see my family in South Carolina or to visit places in the region like Luray Caverns.
i Actually did the whole quest and sided with Hugo. i was hoping the Enclave bunker was part of the quest since there is one down there but it seems it will be for some other dlc down the line.
That’s great and I’d come back and play this game but now that I’m not a Fallout 1st subscriber I’m constantly dealing with excessive scrap weight and I’m not paying them a monthly fee to have somewhere to put my scrap, that’s RIDICULOUS.
Looks like F76's Dead Money/Honest Hearts
When you’re so Fallout New Vegas Brained you see everything as derivative of it:
It really does have that dead money especially the red sky, and I can already feel the ptsd from that DLC
@@jakespacepiratee3740I mean it is the best fallout game
@@jakespacepiratee3740 A: Its a really good Fallout game and B: I like that Bethesda is getting a little bit more creative while still also taking inspiration from past games.
@@jakespacepiratee3740When you have a terrible taste in games and fail to make a good comment:
I’m interested because I live in the Shenandoah Valley. They did FallOut 3 which is just to the east of me and FallOut 76 so far has had locations just to the west of me, but I’m stuck in the middle. Now Fallout is going to be right in my backyard.
Love ya Juicehead, you keep doing you, you're killing it. 👌
I acknowledge the fact that Bethesda has millions of dollars from their consumers at this point and that micro-transactions in games leave a bad taste in mouth for all the consumers. But seriously this update genuinely looks good. I think everyone should give it a shot. Maybe you'll only play it for a week barely(not an entire month) but you'll still have fun.
Maybe that can be true when this content drops, as of now I cant agree 😂
The only thing that keeps me away from this game is the limited storage. Having to pay to fix a problem the company created is ridiculous. In a game so focused on building, limiting the storage is such a low blow
Storage? Just sell most of it
1200 weight is good. It's not 400 anymore
You’re not playing the game right, it’s a you problem, simple as that. 🤷♂️

Let the loot goblin have their fun.
I feel like some weapons need a tuning tbh. Things like lever action rifles and pistols just don't do the job at higher levels. Not to mention the ammo drop is highly disfavorable to automatic rifles at lower levels as well.
As someone who just came back after getting to level 25 in the early days after launch, it's really about picking a weapon type and sticking to it, and taking perks that buff those weapons. I forgot that you could level the perk cards by getting multiple and combining them (I might be mentally deficient :/) and that made a huge difference in my ability to kill mobs quickly, and with less ammo, meaning I'm always getting more than what I put out. That, to me, is the key: figure out how to kill enemies as efficiently as possible, so you get maximum returns. I'd recommend doing rifleman (or any other semi-auto-weapons perks, like gunslinger or shotgunner) up to level 50 so you can stockpile ammo with semi-auto rifles, then switching over to commando after you have tons of ammo stacked up in the mid to late game so you can feed automatic weapons.
Legendaries help, but you’re right, there are a handful of weapons that will always be way better than others.
Does the stash get more space or preferably become a slot storage rather than weight?
I still play 76, what kills me is the space for storage, it caps at 1200. Not having a system to effect the weight of items while gear is in there. Not being able to put Plasma and Fusion cores in the ammo box (while having FO 1st). How many points you have to have into weight reduction cards. And how much it costs for max cards for damage.
yeah this is my biggest complaint about the game i also wish they would remove vendor caps limit, player caps limit and make it so you can sell ammo to vendors but make items cost more caps to buy as a trade off
Do high-level ghouls still require multiple armor piercing rounds to the head to end them? Is the item storage still too small? Do I still have to grind for legendary weapons in order to take down enemies at a reasonable pace?
No
It’s 1200 now
And there’s a re roll mechanic for legendary items and they drop all the time
How do you start the quest line? I went in Vault 63, but i was only in there a few minutes as my armor was broken and the giant Crabs were kicking my but...🎉🎉🎉
I need more storage. We need more fixes then we need a DLC but a dlc is pretty cool tho lol. We need more storage, 1200 doesn’t cut it at all
Do you think it'll fix all the issues with pricing and plans in vendors, I hate how over expensive everything is, and I just want my combat armor plans
The red fog/ cloudy sky reminds of the fog from the Sierra madrie
This game came such a long way. I'm so glad they kept working on it. It's pretty addictive now
Far Harbor is some of the best of Bethesda fallout, thats high praise, looking forward to this.
That whole scene taking about taking a boat apart and then putting it back together reminded me of Wanda Vision 😂
The Ship of Theseus is the metaphor being used. It's literally 2000 years old, having been formed in Greece about a real ship (whether used by 'Theseus' and for what purpose is lost). And it's a really good thought experiment: at what point of repair and replacement does an original stop being the original become a new thing.
@@woodysmith2681 I know it just reminded me of that scene with the two Visions
The Ship of Theseus has been referenced in so many things over the millennia. Freaking Shakespeare made several references to it throughout his works.
If only they fixed constant crashing and the storage space...
Juice head made his point and then reworded it for 8 minutes. I’m excited for the update tho
As someone who lives in Northern Virginia, I love Fallout showing me places in DC and in West VA I have visited in real life, Skyline Drive is such a memorable drive that I am excited to explore in 76
Right. Lived in Luray, VA before and hiked thru the Shenandoah's on the Appalachian Trail years before, so I'm excited to see another familiar place added.
They NEED to increase storage. Maybe add it to follout 1st if its a money thing, but ive been running around having less and less space for stuff and im only level 58.
Can’t believe they added the Sierra Madre to West Virginia
I feel like one of the problems Fallout 76 has as far as a lack of new quest content goes is because they tend to do a new cast of characters in a new location most of the time. That's great and needed, but I feel it might be fun if we had a certain cast of characters that had a reoccurring role in a new side questline or two every update. It doesn't have to be an earth shattering, 10 hour long content, but in combination with the main expansion quests, every update or so getting another side adventure or mini problem to solve with a ragtag group of survivors and/or vault dwellers could help pump more content in the form of questing and storylines into the game that by comparison may not require as many resources as the big main ones.
It's cool to see they are trying to create variant looks for all the ghouls --- something that wasn't done in Fo4.
Do i have to reinstall the app if i have it already!!?
They should just add in quests that alter the game world and do like D4 where you auto join servers that have the same map state as you, unless you join a friend in which you play in their map state
I recently started playing it again and it feels much more balanced than before. Like getting Merced by level 65 stingwibgs every quest was lame
They had finally fixed the Artisians Corner lighting issue with the public test server that included the questline for the expansion.
all this just for the stash size to still be 1200 pounds.
It's honestly such a hindrance end game, if u don't have a alt mule acc then ur a psycho
I know all about the disaster launch for the game but I’ve been playing it the last couple weeks after watching the show and it’s actually pretty solid. The camaraderie and public events have elects of Destiny as well as joining random teams and giving gifts to fresh characters
Hmm looking at that overseer with the blue electric eyes made me think of the women that had blue eyes in vault 4 on the show…
I been playing for a few weeks now and I’m having a ton of fun In 76
I never actually finished the story line before the npcs were added is all that still available to play through? What really killed the game for me was the PVP i enjoyed taking control of a building but didn't fully realize it opened it to pvp.
i have had fallout 76 but never got around to playing it maybe make a video on how to go through the main storyline and subsequent dlcs? i see the game is getting much better and wanna hop in
dude the game teaches you, follow the map markers and stuff.
@@billeastwood597 yea ik obviously but it’d be cool to have a vid dedicated to explaining the best way to experience it like main quest first then wastelanders then what yk?
@@sean1910 don't worry about that just play the game
My advice as someone who has probably done the main story over 5 times… do the vanilla story of following the overseers journey. Use an online guide, should be easy to find. But basically the reason is this is how the game was meant to be played, and you’ll have all the necessary access levels for the DLCs and won’t have to take detours from those quests. Otherwise just basic stuff like keep every weapon for scrapping. Take time to learn the perk system, it’s not simple.
The radiation level on his HP bar gives me anxiety
its the strat for bloodied builds, keeps your health locked to 20-25% HP so you're always getting a damage boost on your weapons and you don't accidentally heal over that threshold
I badly want like 100lbs for a special stash for all characters to share so you can transfer items without the need for a friend to be the mule.
I started really playing last week and it’s by far the best “vanilla” experience rn of all the games. 3 and NV just crash all the time, 4 is ok but feels like a precursor to the map of 76. This one has such an immense feel that it’s genuinely epic to explore. It gives me some hope for the future of my personal favorite Bethesda franchise, Elder Scrolls.
As a solo player I disliked F76 upon release and only played a few hours. I recently returned to finish the solo story questline in my Fallout marathon play-through. I am now 112 hours in and enjoying it a lot. You can pretty much play alone and you rarely see people unless you join an event. I finished most of the quests but I am now doing dailys and events and trying to get better power armor and legendary rolls.
Same for me !
Can I play fo76 like a story now, or do I still have to farm, build camps and stuff?
just build a basic camp that covers ur needs thats what i do
@@tbounds4812 thanks!
did the overeaters armor legendary effect changed or just localized description is odd? I would say 76 melee, especially melee with legendary perk cards is really fun. Same for bow + vats. Quests/story are fine but they end relatively quickly and then grind starts of jumping to players stores and looking for desired gear, dumping legendaries to then roll on RNG legendaries. Still it would be way cooler if F4 next gen had most of the combat/gear systems from 76.
Unless they make the game playable without fallout 1st, fix melee stagger and the random stagger/damage that just occurs while in game, and the ridiculous damage that robots do regardless of how much energy protection you have.
This game is hands doen great because alot of the stuff you can get without paying any real world money , but there is little things for me that i wish would change such as bieng abke to put grenades and fusion/plasma cores into your ammo box and giving more space into your stash box would be a major plus for me there are other things but they dont bother me as much as having to leave stuff behind because you maxed out your stash box abd having to wear the excavator armor just to get that extra carry weight boost
I didn't know they were giving this away on Prime until it was too late. I'm bummed :\
They need to make a next gen update for this game
Visually seems like mixed Sierra-Madre from Dead Money and Zion from Honest Hearts.
AWESOME!! I've been enjoying the expeditions. But this is what I've really been waiting for.
1:30 "Makes the lost a fairly difficult fight"
Not really, super easy. I never went below 90% HP. But then again I have 5x your health and power armor.
Why run bloodied if they all die in 1 hit from a non-bloodied build? Overkilling the monster gives you nothing.
Less constant crashing would help too😮💨
Depends, did they expand the size of storage for gear?
No and you don't need anymore space. 1200 pounds is perfectly fine if you are having trouble fitting stuff in then that's a YOU problem. Learn how to manage your stuff better and this won't happen.
I just hope you get those unique melee weapons early on in this story! Vault 63 Zweihander, my beloved... 🥺
Until BGS lets us Cross Save i am not coming back to 76. As i am done on console ps5/xbox and now i need Cross Save to PC/STEAM.
4:03 Distractible flashbacks, “the ship of Theseus”
I came back to the game due to the sale. I swapped over from xbox and last time I played was when Steel Rain was just added. When I came back I was shocked at how great this game has become and it sucks cause I missed out on some cool stuff that I hope does return. Primarily the Hellcat Company Pipboy and Power Armor skin. Ima get the bundle tbh is the coolest logo, colors, and outfit I have seen. The power armor is amazing, second favorite to x02
Can you make camps in the new area?
Yeah
The new content sounds great. I just came back to the game and I think it is much better already than it was when I tried long ago, but I have a decently big problem. I play on PC and when I am indoors, my camera shits drastically on occasion when moving the mouse while walking. I tried setting "iPresentInterval=1" to 0 based on suggestions and that just causes another bug to trigger and I can't move inside at all. Does anyone know of a work around for this other than using a controller to play? Any help would be appreciated as I would love to play the new content.
A potential issue after changing that value to 0 is framerate. If it exceeds 130 or so it can lock up your game. So you go to Nvidia control panel and set a custom fps limit for F76. May help your situation.
@@WestOfDunce Thanks!
Did this ever get updated for current consoles?
I really want to to back do 76, but all my progress is in my xbox one account, bethesda don`t allow me to migrate my progress to the PC version, I was lvl 121, had a lot of fallout 1st content unlocked.

And how long will it be before this update makes everyone's game crash nonstop like the fantastic fallout 4 update???
I wish they would just add more maps so you can explore more just one map isn’t enough to keep playing we should be able to travel like fallout 4 did with nuka world 🌎 and far harbor this is just the beginning hopefully they add more places at least 2 more like they always do with all the dlcs for past games
Still waiting for shared progress with friends in all the missions...
My only concern is Bethesda using vaults in this games Dlc's which is a big gameplay/lore loss for single player only fans, that aside I will try this game again for sure with that update and the facial animations seem improved too.
Is it a dlc that you have to pay for or is it just added to the story line?
Like every expansion, it's Free
Does anything tie into the new show?
Not directly, 76 takes place just 20-25 years after the bombs drop while the show takes place 219 years after the bombs. Also Appalachia is on the opposite side of the country.
If you have game pass you can unlock a skin for your backpack to look like Lucy's vault backpack and you can equip the ghouls outfit but that's just what it's in the game currently I'm hoping they add that shotgun revolver thing

Off topic but, why do so many 76 youtubers have such high rads ? Does it benefit some kind of perk, or is it simply way too many radaways to get rid off ?
there are specific perks and mutations that grant you the higher damage and VATS output at the cost of your HP as long as you have the rads. Combine that with some legendary effects on weapons and you will get some massively OP builds.
