Thanks for the comments everyone! I hope you enjoyed the episode, especially the bit at 53:00. Thanks again to Charlie who you can find on CZcams here czcams.com/channels/ddhCpo99TYiSiRhmzVVSEg.html
😂😂 I totally agree! Of course it's content!
@MT TM time code please
@MT TM No it’s ok to say in a pub, meaning inside a pub.
@MT TM No, I mean the “see you again” bit
@MT TM “It’s nice to speak to you again”
Nothing wrong with that.
It’s the second or third time I’d spoken to him.
Two of my favorite teachers and podcasts. I was feeling a bit down, You guys made my day. Thank you, Luke!
Don't say that it bummed me out.
@@Neo-Reloaded Why? :)
I love both of your accents. They are like honey to my ears ! If I had either one of your accents, I would never shut up I swear.
It's not awkward at all to be polite! In my humble opinion, the conversation becomes more pleasant with people like that! And with all my respect, what beautiful eyes of Charlie Baxter! 😅
I have lived in Glasgow for three years and this episode brought back some good old memories of my life in the UK. 😊
Hi Luke! I'm a Moroccan Teacher of English. This podcast about British tradition is my favourite. Keep going.

That was definitely a content 😃 thank you so much! I loved it
Thanks for the talk. It reminds me when I was a student in the UK and went to British pubs.
Laughed a lot and learned a lot! Thank you!
Hey dear Luke! Thanks so much for the amazing episode! Lots of love to Charlie as well! As far as the Guinness pint is concerned, while visiting the factory in Ireland, I had the chance to participate in that “crash course” on how to pour your own Guinness. According to them, not only doesn’t it travel, but the taste also gets different if you don’t pour it properly. That’s why there’s the harp on the glass. It’s a kind of measuring symbol (and not just Guinness’ symbol). There’s method to the pouring. Question is: are all bartenders aware of that? Probably not. Again, thanks for the amazing episode!
I was taught the correct way to pour a pint of Guinness while on holiday in Ireland too!
Both are my favourite teachers.Watching from Bangladesh.
So far this is the best content i've watched on this channel
Hi Luke, thank you very much for another extremely interesting episode. Some of the dialogues made me laugh. Thanks to you, I have become more confident that I can handle English. Agnieszka (Poland)

Thanks Luke! I went back to 1994 when I lived in London and watched Brookside trying to understand the English they spoke. I remember a long-awaited episode where two girls were going to kiss for the first time on English TV.
Really enjoy your podcast ) Feel a bit craving to it 😄 Thank you!

Great !
I am a podcast person all the way (whatever that means!) but I was eager to sit at some point to watch the video and see you both having such a delightful time! Double dose of fun :) Thank you!
listening this while I am doing the washing up
Fire! 🔥
Luke thinks about his eyebrowes??? 🤣Yuke you look good...!!!
You can find the Irish pub named 'hub' in almost every big city in Tokyo. It's quite famous among people. 🍻
Two beer or not two beer that is the question...))
‘When I lived in Japan..’ 🤪 Bingo! I loved the complete episode and that eyebrows’ tangent was amazing 😁 they really seem to be invisible hehe. I wanted to comment on something you said: this habit of English people of constantly saying ‘sorry’ and ‘thanks’. It maybe a cultural thing but I think it has to do with politeness. I do say those words all the time and I'm from Argentina 🤷♀️ Anyways, wonderful episode as usual Luke 🙋♀️
Hi teacher. My problem that I mix between Us English and UK English. what do you think about that and what's your advice. Thanks teacher for all your efforts.
I am in Melbourne, colder than Sydney
min 28: "you should be..." hahahaha
El Sr. Con Lentes de este tipo!!
Hi! I would need some more explanation for some words and expressions, such as in your fathers speech somewhere on a 53:24 when he said “it become devised” and “blood lion”? And more about that scratch (?) you told “multipieson’s”? Maybe we could find it if you share the link please? And your speech since 55:23 so fast that even 5 times listening didn’t help me. Anyway it was amazing idea to invite your parents, was incredibly interesting, informative and funny. And don’t forget, guys, that all that millions pounds which were spent for coronation, were the income and separate of your citizens, it gives them nice occasion to earn, to spend for beautiful parties it’s much more better then to spend for a wars. Thank you for your work, Luck! Perfectly done!
realy nice Sir,🇨🇦🇧🇩🇨🇦🇧🇩🇨🇦🇧🇩
it seems Luke has done a lot of practice in imitating virtual sonuds , 👍🤣👌
He is so cute 🥰
Hello Luke, I have a question about podcasts.
When you take out a subscription, how many months does it last? Thank you for your answer.
Normally podcast subscriptions are free and last forever (or until you unsubscribe).
Some podcasts also have extra subscriptions that you have to pay for. I have LEP Premium and if you choose to subscribe to that, you pay per month and the subscription continues until you choose to cancel it. Find out more here if you like www.teacherluke.co.uk/premium
Hi Luke, I was wondering if you could tell me what accent Charlie Baxter has. Is he also from London? I can hear that his accent is quite different compared to yours, both are absolutely lovely! I kind of recognize Charlie's accent, as I got people around me who spoke like him when I lived in London, but I've never figured out where these people are from.
❣
An episode about playing pool😉

Hello!!
Some of english teachers says that we (they) never reply the word "fine" in return on greeting "how are you?" . By the way they even.underline it ,never, never say fine
It's not true though, because "I'm fine" is the most common way to answer the question "How are you?" The point is, don't just say "I'm fine" like a robot.
Hi, Hello Paul and Charilie from Negros Occ.
The Guest is handsome.
