I've been in the appliance repair industry for over 50 years and from time to time have seen some really good DIY solutions to the servicing of products. You're right up there with one of the best. Nice job Sir. Thank you for sharing
YOU SIR, have single handed revolutionized the dirty underwear industry in one swift video. I wanted to install a drain pan actually, to my RV laundry closet and kept scratching my head trying to figure out how to roll it over the tray after installing it and this video serves the purpose.
THANK YOU! I bought a nice stainless pan after a small leak and have been looking for a good technique to install without damaging the lip. You saved me. Seriously, thanks.
This is great! I almost killed myself putting my frontloader back. I need to clean out the area this weekend and will DEFINITELY make one of these! Thank you! :)
Thanks Mike for sharing that great tip on removing a washer from its drain pan. Already keep my dryer vent rods in a 2" PVC pipe with caps. Not a 3" will add it to my tools in the near future. And Thanks to Mr O Fix it also for the demo👏👏🔥
I've been selling used washers and dryers since 2013 and have never seen a pan under the washer. I've told a few people they should get one. I guess people in Texas don't use them. I do have a question though since I'm sure at some point people will start using them.... why will a 2" pipe not work and why can't I just buy it 3' instead of having to cut it?
I was wondering the same thing. Why 3 inches and not 2? I will say, with the bigger size, you can put in more lint-eater rods! But is that the only reason?
3:51 "then from there roll it forward and lift it up".... camera cuts to scene of it being done. You couldn't let the camera record continuously as you did 3:50 prior? LOL It was a fail hence the cut scene
Another "I saw this on a video" and now here you are making this worthless video. You must have houses built in warehouses where you have all the room in the world. What will you do with a front load washer with a built in counter top or top load washer in a tight area?

Thanks very much, I'm 67 and was able to move my washer, replace the pan and moved the washer back. No damage!!
Much appreciate.
Awesome video! Many others just show drain pan install. I don’t need that. I need to know how to not break my drain pan.

Going to pick up these supplies tomorrow. Just purchased my appliance dolly today. Time to Rock and Roll. Thanks Mike
Thanks for that great idea. Have been puzzling how to install a pan. Now I know!
Thank you, a great technique to save the pan!
All that and still almost broke the pan at the end. That's just how it goes. Good idea for helping this inevitable situation.

Great idea. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks, I cracked the front while getting the machine out and was wondering how I am going to lift the some 200lb machine, you solved my problem.
Thank you! Used this trick with old piece of pic pipe to remove ugly plastic drip pan that was making it hard to clean around washer and dryer.
Thanks for sharing. I have used your advice. The tray needs to be held against the wall to keep it from moving.
Thanks Mr. O Fix IT and Mike for the video! Dam Mr. O what a mess LOL that was bad!
I did that to move a shed in my yard.
Great video
I like your technique.

think this will work on a 360 lb stacked laundry unit? It's one piece and heavy!
Gonna use that one, but why does it always look so much easier when Mike does it 🤔 😆
High tech but works

It was a fail hence the cut scene
Why don't they just make a Drip pan that has a side that comes down/latches down
