This may be a controversial opinion, but I believe that the true follow up of the Barbie and the Rockers doll, is the first Milly of the Barbie extra's. Big pink jacked, check. White ankle boots, check. Crimped hair, check. Shiny silver fabric, check. Star print, check.

I got the Peaches N Cream Fashionista today at Target on clearance for just $5.49, which is a bargain. However, her hair is polypropylene, so I'm gonna have to make the best of it.

Omg, this was Epic! ❤ I love the fact you glammed them up, then showed their original outfits from the past and placed the outfits they came with on the rack. The ones they came with looked sad on the rack compared to your loving restyle. I loved the Peaches one and the Rockers one the best, but they were all fantastic after your loving care. As usual, a perfect restyling for dolls that needed something special. Your eye for the details is always spot on, from the hairstyle to the accessories. Peaches and Cream was absolutely stunning. I noticed you changed her hair from the double top knots into a glamorous ponytail. Looking forward to part 2. 🩷🌷🩷
Yeah, It didn’t sit well with the final look so I had to make some changes, and funny thing is that I almost changed her outfit up but most actually ended up liking her the most 😆🩷🎀✌🏻

I think we as collectors sometimes forget these are play line dolls for kids. BUT they really are awful and need some help. Your makeovers are awesome, I like them all! My favorites are the original Swimsuit and Peaches and Cream. They are all truly amazing and I’d buy all of them. You need to get a job at Mattel.👍😄

I really like these ones, have them all! "Peaches & Cream" is always a thorn in my side -- only because I had the original AA and sold her in 1991 (and 1988 Happy Holidays) when I was moving to a smaller place - I really regret it!!!! I love what you did to the twist and turn inspired girl, she is adorable. And I am very glad that you decided to redo the hair of the peach girl. They all got very pretty and much more iconic. What I dislike with the modern Barbies is mostly the hair. Why do they always look like they got the hair cut with a shredder. So choppy and uneven. This never was with the 80s to early 2000. And I wish they still had the bend and snap knees for the not articulared / mtm dolls, as those hard stiff broomstick legs are giving nothing. I do love that we get diversity in faces, shapes and skintones though.

I did buy the doll with rainbow outfit and blue hair because I liked the Barbie looks curvy girl wearing the pink dress. I planned to switch their bodies with each other yet they both looked nicer on a regular articulated body I got separately. The makeup artist Barbie could be a sister and I'm still looking for a decent body to put her on

I got the Rocker one mainly because of her face mold. I took her ugly skirt off and gave her a white Rainbow High one I had. She looks so much better. I added the pink vest that you put on the Great Shape doll as well. I didn't bother to rebody her.

@Barbination I found this mini fashion crossbody bag for her. For a non articulated doll, she holds it well.
OMG! This is a great video Arjen! I've been seeing these dolls for the longest time and I'm quite thrilled with some of them. I don't know if you notice it but the striped blonde Barbie's lips are always not aligned with their lips. I noticed some of the dolls which wears that dress has weird lipsticks. some of them are aligned and some were not. I actually took photos of them just to be sure my eyes aren't deceiving me. My husband noticed it too as well as the store clerk whom I've spoken with.
hmm ugh, now that’s just so annoying and I never actually noticed but will keep an eye out now. The pixelation is bad enough but bad alignment and wonkyness is even worse 😮
@@Barbination kinda disappointing to be honest. even the playline 65th doll with the pink dress has the same issue. I love Barbie but I do hope they'll check on these kind of issues too. Btw, have you seen the 65th anniversary boxes Mattel is giving away? I wish you'd get one. You definitely deserve to get one of those especially with your contents and how you manage to educate and entertain most of your viewers. ❤️
I haven't gotten any of them yet. I really like the Barbie and the Rockers and the Twist n Turn. If I get any, it would be them. They all turned out very cute. At least their hair and fashions did. Still not a fan of the face on Peaches and Cream. ❤

But jeesh little kids in the past had the glam, wr had it all fashion avenue was the skys limit for mattel. And the dolls too. We saw the first made to moves type dolls, we saw fashion that was so hip and cool ! I miss the fashion avenue.

Verzamelaarspoppen, verkleed ik meestal niet 🤔. Soms wel, depands on the setting.
Als ik deze Fashionistas zou aanschaffen, gaat mijn voorkeur naar de donkere dame en de rockstar dame🤔.
Ik kijk ook altijd een beetje, wat voor type ik nog niet in mijn collectie heb.
Vraagje nog: als ik de haren was van barbie, doe ik het alleen met shampoo. Doe jij het altijd met conditioner, doorkammen en dan in gekookt water doorhalen? Dus niet de conditioner uitspoelen? Of is dit meer voor als je het gaat stylen? 🤭😂ja vraag het voor misschien mooier resultaat met jouw techniek👌

I always love your restyles, but the original face mold has to be spot on to make me consider the investment. I have to rebody and restyle them. Might as well just buy a more expensive doll.
