The Philly vegan scene has come a long way in the last few years. I love Goldie and Charlie was a Sinner. Goldie also has the benefit of being really affordable.

Great vlog. I live about an hour from Philly. Planning to spend a few days there over Christmas break and now I will definitely check out Charlie Was a Sinner. Btw, if you like Ethiopian food, one of my favorites is in Philly--Almaz Cafe. Looks very "basic" but the food is delicious.

Omg I'm from Philly and Charlie's is one of my favorite bars in the city! Always wanted to try out Ps&Co! Love you vlogging in familiar places!
The vlog was so fun to watch!
I visited Philly for the first time last year and found it to be a very vegan friendly city. Ps and Co was a favorite but I wasn’t entirely impressed with Charlie Was A Sinner. The best meal I had there was at a vegan restaurant in china town called New Harmony. They had the best general tso’s “chicken”. I can’t wait to go back and eat at some more places.

The Turkish coffee is my favorite flavor! I get it all the time at the Goldie in the Whole Foods in Center City. I met you the other week at the Whole Foods on South Street!
Love Philly so much, they have a huge vegan food scene!! Definitely try V Street next time, it's my favorite restaurant ever

I want to be vegan so badly. I legit look up to you. My only problem is that I can't afford it but I try to eat vegan when I can.

Then you can eat entirely vegan -- cheapest foods on the planet are plant foods (oats, potatoes [regular potatoes tend to be much cheaper than sweet potatoes], beans, rice, lentils, fruits, veggies etc). You don't need to eat vegan cheeses and meats if you can't afford it. But take your time :)
Hilo Palin where I live, that food is quite expensive. There are plenty of variables that contribute to why I truly can't. But thank you.
Even if it is expensive, it probably isn't more expensive than meat, dairy and eggs that you find in stores.

Dang. See? You are lucky in that you can eat soy and nuts/legumes. I cant. And am also allergic to most the vegan protein sources. So I am not 100% vegan at this time.
What are you allergies?
Jenny Peanut/Nuts/Legumes, Dairy, Soy, Coconut, Avocado, Hemp, Chia, Flax. I can do seeds, cashew, rice.
