Thanks foe the video. These clips were the worst, and even after this demonstration, I returned them. Highly recommend not buying these - they were all my local Best Buy had and I was in a hurry so I grabbed them. Cheap ones from elsewhere after 1 day shipping were much easier to install!
Do not buy these. Maybe some had success but seriously these are terrible. I spent about 2 hours installing 10. Kept falling off the wire. I did tone test and 2/5 speakers worked. Redid and got 4/5 working. I said enough. Try Home Depot ones. Easy and simple. All working.
Thanks for this. While mine did come with instructions, I just wanted to make sure I installed the right compression cap (even though the instructions show you). I have 16 AWG wire, but it is such a tight fit with the black ones. I thought they maybe they misprinted it. Thanks again. Yes, they should have a smarter way to install these. They obfuscated the design to utilize as many parts as possible. Ugh!
Had to watch this video first since there were no instructions after that it was easy. But to make things a bit more easy you should include some type of instructions I can how some would get frustrated
all my Yamaha speakers are wired with no negative or positive markings. So I'm guessing it doesn't matter which wire goes into which plug. My Yamaha receiver just has the insert wire spring clip system.
These are the same plugs I was able to get today--in town-at Best Buy. I had Monster and two plugs I F'd up when I disconnected old receiver--MY fault. BUT I hate this freaking style! The Fre3aking NEEDLE! Just F'g hate it! Good luck!
Unbelievable that these did not come with instructions. Thank goodness for your video!
I strip mine and I wished I had seen this video first. I still have my center and my back. Thank you. This is going to be easy this afternoon
Thanks Automight!! Always happy when people like you have the exact video I’m looking for to save me some time👍
Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!

Thank you! I love CZcams!
It's like Best Buy set out to create the worlds worst way to connect speaker wires. Thanks for the tutorial 👍
I did not know that this was BestBuy's private label brand.
Thanks so much, worked perfectly.
Thanks Internet! I knew you wouldn't let me down...

Wow I stopped using these cause I thought they were shit! But didn’t know that’s how they connected! Thnx! Still think there shit though!
Do you recommend Banana clips to both receiver and to speaker? Or just to receiver?
Both. Makes it quick and easy.
Both
Check the connection on the amp or receiver. Some take a pin type connection
I just bought these nanner plugs hopefully they work for me up at sideburns cabin.
thanks. I just bought these today and they came with NO directions. No reference to speaker wire size etc. NADA.

They literally won't attach to the Rocket Fish in wall graded wire
I don't understand why they have to make it so difficult
To anyone with 18 gauge wire: do not buy these. My fingers are bleeding and the connection is still shoddy. Avoid.
These are the stupidest banana plugs ever. Buy other ones these are not worth the money and time
