coming from riddim dubstep to dippin my feet into the phonk genre its crazy to see how different the mixdown styles are and how much simpler it is. Great video tho and I hope this helps anyone who struggles with mixing and mastering. i did for a long time

I learned many of these techniques in months, watching videos, trying and failing, adjusting things on my own taste. That said, I would have loved to watch this video before, because it goes direct on the core, giving a solid start for developing one's own mixing and mastering preferences in the genre, a genre where many other mix and mastering tips aren't useful

Nice video Pharmacist! I would definetely say for mixing for certain genres varies. Good mix for Phonk may be a terrible mix for trap. But you did very good! Great video and informative!

There is another way to sidechain with GB instead of trying to get the points perfectly. Turn all points all the way up and turn Attack knob to 100%. Then turn the TNS knob to 0%.

no, edison is a recorder and eq is turned off, I was just experimenting during the process; don't be scared about distortion
