- Hello and welcome to Train Simulator Classic!
In today's video we're going to be driving the Class 185 on the Hope Valley line from Sheffield, over to Manchester Piccadilly. This is based on a real life timetabled TransPennine Express service which runs via Stockport, however for some reason we have a 15 minute wait at Stockport...
It's a great run over the Hope Valley, although it's little bit wet! Luckily there's quite a few tunnels on this route where we can dry off.

All WTTs were replicated from the exact workings of a Sunday, this service did decide to run early to Stockport, apologies for the long pause at SPT!
I miss the 185s in Newcastle they are a rarity these days. Was not the biggest fan of them back in the day but when all we get in Newcastle is 80Xs the 185s were lovely, powerful, capable units
Never heard anyone excited to visit Deighton or Mirfield 😂
joe the hudersfield line for tcs is northern transpenine modernised and ported over they did it with long island Railroad

Double track all the way to Redcar Central and beyond to Saltburn. I am sure the TP Express services have started/planned/rumoured to extended to Saltburn. Northern do run an hourly service from Bishop Auckland to Saltburn via Darlington and Middlesbrough, the section between Bishop Auckland and Darlington does have some single track running so we won't be getting any other services or changes to frequency this end of the line. We even have a small section of the Bishop line with semaphore signalling although with the Hitachi building the stretch from Heighington to Darlington now has electronic light signals.

Grimsby - Cleethorpes is a bit of Single Line the 185s run on!
This needs to be brought out on tw3 be happy with that
Nearly 2 weeks I went on class 68 nova 3 when I went from Scarborough to York on my main channel and its have to be one of best train I ever been on and I never been on class 185

sorry to disapoint but you already can drive the machester leeds route on ts2 you just can do it in the present day
I hope this route gets added to TSW3 because it would look spectacular with them graphics
