In our inaugural episode, we visit legendary cookbook author Dorie Greenspan. Dorie welcomes us into her Connecticut home for a tour of her kitchen. During our visit, she shows us the process through which she creates bestselling cookbooks like "Everyday Dorie" and "Dorie's Cookies." Dorie also walks us through a selection of her favorite kitchen tools, including her adorable silicone spatulas and cooling racks. And after all that, she still has the time to make her delicious French vanilla sablé cookies.

I always loved being in Dories house, unique house. Loved the Lego town that Michael made in the basement. During holidays Dorie made lost of cookies and always gave my mom some to share, the savory cookies were my favorite.

I feel the same way about my kitchen tools as she does about hers. Ina Garten ,Erin McDowell and now Dorie Greenspan my 3 favorites and I have learned so much from these ladies.
Your so blessed, and you work hard. You enjoy your work, you are special. I have three cookbooks of yours and your books are different then other cookbooks. First you teach, you explain,I love that. Second you tell interesting tidbits about the recipe, love all that. You have three kitchens you are a darn lucky woman. I admire you and I think of you as my dear friend, perhaps one day somewhere I will meet you.
Those sables are beautiful in their simplicity and that brown ring around them was a clever achievement from using the muffin tin! Her home kitchen was very special to see as well👍

I know what you mean about tools.
I'm an old school architect and painter, drafts person. I own all forms of brushes, pens, drafting tools, and the like, sometimes just to feast my eyes on them or to hold them.
I like to cook as well. I have an extensive collection of new and old copper, steel, iron, and silver pots and pans.
I'm a collector. Hopefully never a hoarder. I give many things away as time goes by and I become more discriminating.

She's a wonderful woman and an excellent cook. But I clicked on this video because I was wanting a true kitchen tour, not a review of her life. It's interesting, just not want I was wanting.
