  • The plaintiff says he loaned the defendant money over the course of a few years, but now his friend is not paying anything back, so he’s suing. The defendant says the money was a gift, and he claims he’s never met the plaintiff in person, only online.

    Some of these comments come down on them for gaming, but most folks spend literal hours on social media across apps, so stop throwing stones. These two seemed like nice guys. The defendant was straightforward about his circumstances and the plaintiff was trying to be a good, supportive friend. I personally think the new chic is in the plaintiff's ear and is influencing a lot of this. What the defendant said was a bad joke but it could have been worked through. When that girl is gone, they'll probably make amends.

    • @dragames
      @dragames Před 2 lety +1

      IT wasn't even a joke he said, the plaintiff backtracked on it. They were giving advice about asian culture. A lot of gamers study it or have at least an interest in it. Like Singapore is notorious for pickpockets at airports because they know they can get away with it because the tourists can't usually speak the language thus making it easier for them to escape while they struggle with the language barrier.

      Men, especially with gaming, will never have a problem with each other. There are whole support communities on social media where players of games have fun, go to each other's house or meet up in an agreed place, and game to their hearts content, no problem. Whenever you involved a woman, girlfriend, or even female cousin or sister is involved, there is going to be a problem! It never fails! 😖

    Watching these court cases, I’ve come to realize that a lot of people are cut *completely* different than I am. I was raised with the ideology of “”Neither a borrower nor a lender be”, and I have never, ever, EVER asked a friend for money. I wouldn’t even feel right allowing someone to give me money like that. Stand on your own two feet, and even if it wasn’t a loan, you should feel like crap letting another man support your lazy, game-playing arse.

    If you want to be repaid, you need to make an agreement before you give the person the money. And if they're going to repay you when they get their taxes back, make sure you clarify that even if they don't get it for some reason, they still owe you the money, and the money will be due at that point.
    People would save themselves a lot of time and money if they would just research what you can sue for, successfully, and what you can't.

    It seems like the plaintiff gifted all the money he's given. The defendant never asked for any of the money. They have been friends for 15 years, I'm sure they've talked about good times and hardships, that's just being friends after that long. It would have been a great gesture had the plaintiff just let this stay the way it was, a bunch of gifts to help a friend. I think this lawsuit came about because the plaintiff's girlfriend does not like their friendship and told him to end it. Nothing else makes sense🤷🏾‍♀️.

    JM got it right ... Oh boy these guys need to get lives ,and when one does get a life ,it's understandable that the other is gonna not be liking it... Misery loves company and all that Jazz. I had a buddy that I met when I moved in across the street from him his wife and teenage family. It started when I needed a battery boost one morning to get to work. After that we had a few beers together and then one day on my holidays he approached me and offered me a job, we negotiated a wage and went from there. Of course I told him no several times before he wore me down and I decided I could use some extra cash. Well I told him what I wanted an hour,he said oh no I can't afford that. I said ok then you cannot afford me. He eventually came around and gave me what I asked for, and shortly after being working together he took on way more work than he could have handled by himself,he was so grateful that he had me ,that he actually gave me a raise. Back in 2000ths 20$ was a good wage.
    Well that's a little back story to get the setting for a mindset of my buddy. Take a step forward 10 years he and his wife split up,but are still good friends, I have gone on to work for bidder company and higher wages copame along. He took to gaming and became a shut-in for the most part, I also had moved out of town to another town,when I would make it back to see him he would be all preoccupied with his gaming family,me being not even into video normal games was in shock on how he had transformed into this guy sitting around a computer and talking with other people about their game plans and how they were gonna take down the resistance...😳 He had been having real conversations with these guys on the other end about his personal life ,and he said they were good dependable people...🤪 He was like a guy that hadn't been in touch with reality for like a very long time. When I asked him to go out for lunch to a restaurant,that was a big deal to him . It took some coaching but he evidently came out. But I was sorry I had taken him to one of my favourite places,cause he acted like a caveman and seriously I thought he was gonna knock the waitress over the head and drag her off. He mistook her being nice to him for I like you I want to ....you. I mean she was always nice to me before that ,and I never followed her to the staff table where she was on a break and kneel down beside her and ask for her to go on a date.🤪 Man the guy wasn't just released from prison but he sure acted like it. What I'm trying to say is ,ok play video games,but don't go all in. There is a real world out here...out there.🙂😉🙏
