- Today we are switching Disney resorts! We are moving from the Riviera Resort to the Villas at Grand Floridian. Split stays at Disney can be intimidating when you have littles. I'm walking you through our entire resort switch day from start to finish! I hope this is helpful! Thanks for watching!

I did a split stay in June - moved to French quarter from pop! They transferred my bags- super simple and room was ready after lunch!! I love the idea of trying different resorts. Oh, my bags were there too!!

I love catching things like that on camera that if you weren't filming for CZcams you wouldn't have! I also love that other kids still know this song. I remember it from Sunday school as a child and have taught it to my kids. I rarely hear it anymore, though.
I loved how you said to Ellie it's going to rain and she gave you that look of "rain, I don't care"!❤

Our last trip we tried our first ever split stay (3 resorts) and on transfer days we slept in, checked our bags with bell services and had 1pm lunch reservations (to get out of the heat) and then headed to the resorts at 4 when we got our room ready notifications. Worked perfectly, but we’re past napping age so we didn’t have that consideration. We also picked the park closest to our resort so it was easy to check in, take a break and head back to the park in the evening.
We are doing a split stay next year and glad for the tips! Just keeping it a resort day seems like a must, but I can see why with an annual pass hitting the parks for a few hours can be nice. 😊

We recently did a split stay and went from Saratoga to Riviera. Our room was ready at 11:30! We actually went over there the day before we moved and asked if at all possible to get an early check in (of course it’s never guaranteed) but he said he would try his best and he delivered! It’s always nice to go straight to your room. We also did extended evening hours on that trip at magic kingdom and our wait times were very low. You just never know what you’re going to get! Love your videos!! ❤

We love split stays! We always split between Beach Club and the Poly because we can’t choose between them 😂. Our transfer day is our pool/signature dinner day. It works out perfectly bc it gives us a much needed break in the middle of our trip and feels like two vacations in one.

Woodys lunch box is not for the faint of heart. You are exactly right! Dog eat dog. I avoid it now. Just not relaxing, and when you’ve been hot and in the park all morning you need a cool and relaxing lunch! ☺️
It’s so true! 🤣 As we were leaving, there were 2 families arguing over who saw us get up to leave the table first. I was out of there quick 🫣😅

Does the Animal Kingdom Lodge have extended hours? If you rent points do you still get them? What parks & what days?
Yes! You have access to EEH at Animal Kingdom Lodge even when renting points ☺️ The nights alternate between parks, so make sure to check the schedule before your trip!
Do you think you and Andy would ever splurge for Victoria and Alberts?

I know this was some months ago but do they still have the older rooms? They're not all refurbished?
We stayed in the original villas building in a deluxe studio, not a resort studio ☺️ These rooms are different from all other rooms at the Grand, but still recently renovated!
